Get back you scrappy beast...get back!!!
I need to teach them a lesson...so out I pull my go cutter....oh yes....we have a camp day with Mr. Go....
While I was in my cutting frenzie, Krista came over....I stopped my scrap busting and let her cut out the drunkard's path for two quilts..... While she was sewing (showed her how easy the curves were) I took her scraps and busted them all up...no scrap breeding at her house.
Then at the end of my cutting....this is the results....Ahhhhhhhhh feels sooooooooooooooooo good.
The scraps are not overflowing the top of this basket any more. If you want to see what it did look like, just look on the post below. Until another day you scrappy beast....and let this be a lesson to you....no scrap breeding tonight. If you are over flowing in the morning...there is going to be a cutting......mark my word..... Be afraid....be very afraid.
you are waaay tooooo funny/ LOL ! ! !
ReplyDeleteA tidy result of a feverish attack on those breeding scraps.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you have the upper hand, Barb.
go GO!
Hugs & ♥♥♥s,
Gerry
see you put them to use, now they will not revolt because they feel wanted.
ReplyDeleteYou really did tame that pile of scraps! I can't wait to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteWay to GO, Barb!
ReplyDeleteYou always make me smile.
ReplyDeleteOh, that stack is so pretty and well-behaved! I am SO impressed by your mastery of the scrap. It's VERY inspiring!
ReplyDeleteHee hee hee!!! I am glad I'm not a scrap. L,A-
ReplyDeleteLong Live the Go! cutter. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what you make with all those tamed and tidy pieces.
ReplyDeleteIt does seem like those pesky scraps breed. When I get my Go or studio I plan to keep my two scrap bins down to one. What is bad is I have several stacks of squares cut in one of those plastic roll around drawer thigy's. I just have way to much fabric.
ReplyDeleteExcellent Barb! You are ready to make more quilts. I am just wondering if you will sew as much when you move off the island.
ReplyDeleteWooHoo! Great job. You had some nice sized scraps in there too. What a fun toy Mr. Go is!
ReplyDeleteYou showed those scraps a thing or two. Now show us what you did with all those squares. ;)
ReplyDeletewow!!!
ReplyDeletethat just makes me so amazed!
what a beautiful CUT pile!
i wish i had a go cutter to make my scraps usefull
Holy scraps! Great way to tame that monster! Now whatcha gonna do with all those neatly cut pieces, huh?
ReplyDeleteOMGosh!! you stopped them dead in their tracks!! LOL
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the good things about the Go! cutter. Banish the scraps!!
ReplyDeleteSo, I take a break from blogging a bit (life's busy crazy right now) and your scraps decide to breed! I'm glad you tamed them and it looks like they're going to be some beautiful quilts now!
ReplyDeleteNow that is much better!
ReplyDeleteI hope your turning that Go with both hands. LOL
We just gotta keep up with the beastly scraps.....or they take over our sewing areas. The GO makes it easy to use them.
ReplyDeleteWow! You sound serious! If I was scrap at your house I would definitely stay home and not party tonight!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh! However, I do believe scraps are just like bunnies, multiplying every time you turn around.
ReplyDeleteNola
Great job on those pesky scraps. They do reproduce when we aren't looking, though...so watch out. You'll have lots more in a couple weeks.
ReplyDeleteBetween the scraps and the Go, sounds like you've got quite a day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Quilting!
I guess you showed them! The little scrap happy scappies!
ReplyDeletelove the tall tidy pile of GO cuts. i'm sure you're feeling extra good about your accomplishments.
ReplyDeletehi Barb!
ReplyDeleteI must get one of these! Can you tell me which dies you have?
Thanks,
Stefanie
i love too party and scraps are smaller than a post stamp here and still i have ways too use them. so please don't throw away i will pay for shipping.
ReplyDeletenynke
Way to show those scraps who's boss!
ReplyDeleteVery cute post. You are not tossing the scraps in the basket are you? Clearly, you need to get the flower and/or tear drop die. The tear drop die consumes even very small scraps!
