MOMMA ALWAYS TOLD ME

To pick up my feet when I walk and to not scuffle them......today, I am glad that I scuffled.....this is what hit my big toe and went sliding across the dinning room floor...... AHHHHHH!!!
Talk about doing the weebe jeebe dance....My skin is still crawling..... Where is my husband? Where are my sons? Who is going to get this thing off my floor?????

AHHHHHH.......After I gained some composure......I picked this thing up with my dust pan...and did the dance all the way to the garbage (it was alive but not well....it still wanted to hurt me....when I went to scoot it onto the dust pan it's tail came up ....AHHHHHH).

Busy day today, having 3 women come over to learn to sew for this non profit. Since my departure is drawing near and no machines yet......and...well....come Sept...my time will be limited. I suggested I teach one lady to do what I was going to do. She is sending over 3.... so two days a week, for two hours....until???? Least ways, there is not nasty centipede on the floor....AHHHHHHH

  16. I hate those centipedes. When we went camping earlier in the summer, one of these suckers got in our tent and crawled on me when I was reading before bed. EWWW!!! I screamed soooo loud.

  19. I HATE creey crawlers....I put glasses over them and my hubby gets the joy of doing whatever after that. I would have not been able to take the bug outide. the nearest drnking glass/cofffee mug would be upside down on top of it until hubby came home.

  21. You were VERY BRAVE! I'm the one they call when they see a spider at work, but they're never that size! I like lisa's idea above for trapping the critters. Very creative.

  22. I hate it when I find one of those in my house, if you had stepped on it, it would have curled around your foot, I know from experience. Nasty critters.

  23. I can't believe this...we just had one of those in our house last week! Ugh! I saw it slither under the sofa (ok, I actually thought it was something worse-a snake!) I yelled for DH and I moved the sofa and he killed it. I had a broom in hand to block it so it couldn't get away. :)

    Brave girl-tackling it by yourself!
