So I have this honey bun......got to thinking.....(yes, trouble is a brewing)....and thinking....and well....this is what I came up with. You won't be able to find this anywhere because it is mine. If you are interested in making this, the instructions are here.
Those precuts are soooo fast and fun. The longest part was fusing the flowers and blanket stitching around them. Didn't take long at all....and if you notice, the heart in the middle is the petals for the flowers. Leave off the flowers and you just have a fast gift for sure!!! As always, the picture does not do this runner justice but....oh well...
Oh....by the way, today (which is Saturday) I have been married for 31 years.... My husband is the romantic in this relationship.....poor guy is stuck with a stick in the mud!!! How he has survived me I will never know...he needs a purple heart, a silver star, something for his perserverance!!!
Looks pretty! I like how your quilting looks like hearts too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!

ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary. 31 years is very special! You should celebrate...and keep in mind when you celebrate your anniversary you are recognizing a good marriage and also teaching your kids about good marriages too! After all, don't you want your kids to have long & happy marriages!
ReplyDeleteMy DH and I both come from families that had terrible marriages. So we celebrate our anniversaries with great pride! Maybe a special beach walk, holding hands, with a nice kiss!
