STIPPLING SATURDAY

I finished this little project last Saturday. I don't like the binding, I did it the traditional way and i really don't like how the corners came out. Maybe I will redo it? Hummm

I stippled this for my one friend that is making 3 baby quilts, I thought stippling would take up some of the excess in some areas. She is doing really well for her first quilts.

I am always doing the opposite of what I should be doing. I am posting to put off exercising and laundry....

  1. Goodness, don't take the whole binding off, just around the corner is you can, and hand stitch it so it lays to your satisfaction.

I'm the Queen of not doing what I should be doing....welcome to my Kingdom LOL.

  7. The red and white quilt really looks nice.

How nice that you are doing the stippling for your new quilter. I know she appreciates it.

I'd sew anyday over laundry and exercise.

  11. I'd sew over exercising and laundry any time! When I was in university, I used to get a lot of my housework and other things done becaue they were preferable to studying! I have no self control! Oh, well. Do you really have to take that binding off? Sounds like such a lot of work!

  12. I think the binding corners on the red quilt look just fine (at least the one I can see in the photo when I clicked on it to enlarge it). You are such a kind person to help those gals with their quilting. They really are lucky to have someone with your patience and talent!
