After I made the Ginger Jar below, I decided to make a pillow case to match, which is the last picture....but it was sooooo fun that I had to make more.
This one is for a little friend that will be turning 8.
Can you guess who this one is for?
This is the pillowcase for the Ginger Jar, didn't have enough of the red border. If you are interested in doing pillowcases you can go to "Stop Staring and Start Sewing"
Very nice pillowcases, I've never made any but now that I have a granddaughter, I'll have to make some for her when she moves to a "big girl" bed.
ReplyDeleteCrispy
Great pillowcases. My little ones here love to make them for themselves.
ReplyDeleteWe've done pillowcases (me and the grandkids) and they love to pick fabric for their own. Yours are very nice, Barb...and I don't know who is getting that chicken one. Is it YOU?
ReplyDeleteOh how cute!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pillowcases! I made some as presents for my great-grandsons at Christmas and they were a hit.
ReplyDeleteHow cute, I like all of them.
ReplyDeleteall very nice Barb.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the link.
These are really cute! I have made pillow cases for each of my guys with their favorite football team fabric. They really loved them. They are so easy to make also. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your pillow cases. I'm going to learn to do them myself one day. I'm sure the recipients are going to love them!
ReplyDeleteHello Barb, love you pillowcases...it has been sometime since I made some.....they were for our Jess with big pink butterfly's on them, they washed so well.Not sure if you have heard of basting spray for layering your quilts...I tried it for the first time when I had the last giveaway and I made the table topper worked well...not sure how you would go on a large project...Warm Regards Lyn
ReplyDeleteOnce you make one pillow case it is hard to stop. Fun project. And the "Jar Quilt" nicely done.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great day. :o}
