It took me all week to decide on the corner pieces, now it will take me another week to think about what to put for the borders? There is an awful lot of thinking going on in my house....it is smoking..... Any suggestions?
A side note: This quilt is totally opposite of what I do and I like but it sure was fun.
Great quilt Barb! I love it. I think I would probably use the light purple for a small border, then the dark purple for an outer border and bind it in green. That's what I would do, but you can do what you want, that is the great thing about making your own quilt.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have had alot of fun with your Kaleidoscope ruler! Great job! I am amazed and want to try it myself now! LOL Great choice of fabrics! I personally am in love with the pansy fabric and would do that as a border just cause I love it! LOL Anything you chose will be perfect! AGain... wow!!

ReplyDeleteWow, did that turn out great!! Way to go "out of your box" if it was me, I would use green. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat looks fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great and it certainly reminds me of Mardi Gras.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of the green, great name and great quilt! Sometimes it's fun to step outside our boxes, huh? Wondeful job!
ReplyDeleteYou did a really great job on that quilt...
ReplyDeleteI was thinking if you had any of the purple left it might make a nice border - but then I'm a purple kind of gal!!!
It is a fabulous piece of work.
ReplyDeleteIt is so visually effective.
Beautiful.
I think you could use any of the colors in there for the border(s)...I LOVE this quilt. You sure did a great job..and did it quickly, too. I'm impressed!!! Great name for it, too.
