It has been busy over here at Bejeweled Quilts....
Between making this pattern (and tons of mistakes)
I used the honey comb fabrics I got from Marshall Dry Goods. I just love this fabric, and yes, it does look busy but I put the oval rings on a plain white background and it just didn't do it for me.
So here it is...
I have made almost 100 chocolate chip cookies for my husband and I have a batch of snicker doodles waiting to be baked.
So....what I need is some help naming this pattern.....any ideas?
Looks like the game Ring Toss.
ReplyDeleteIt is very different! It made me think of the Olympics. Maybe "Olympia". I'm not good at names. It is very pretty though!
ReplyDeleteLinked!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of the symbol for the Olympics. I like it! I love Marshal Dry Goods even though I only go when I drive through on my way to my step mom's.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great on the honeycomb fabric...don't be so hard on yourself! :)
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of a few names: ChainLink....Continuum...Rings of Change.
*I can almost smell those Snickerdoodles baking! One of my favorites!
I liked Linked with Love
ReplyDeleteDouble Vision
ReplyDeleteYou've already had some excellent suggestions! It's only 5:30 a.m. Here and my brain hasn't engaged yet, but I sure like the pattern. It looks great with that fabric! Well done!
ReplyDeleteYour runner is a beauty. It reminds me of ceramic tiles, so I would simply call it Tiles!
ReplyDeleteHow about Mosaic Links?
ReplyDeleteI thought of the Olympic Rings also.
ReplyDeletePerhaps something like "Going for Glory"
Ring around the roost.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty...naming them is the hardest part, I think. I anguish over that part every time. My suggestion is Elliptical Moon.
ReplyDeleteLoop the Loop. Or make one with some tropical fabric and call it Hula Hoop.
ReplyDeleteOh My! For some reason I like this design...L
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of mosaic tiles. Very pretty.
ReplyDeletePretty! How about "While the Cookies Baked", lol
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I thought of when I saw it was Abacus. For some reason it reminds me of all those beads on one and then Bead Fusion can to mind. Now I have to make a batch of Snickerdoodles because they are my favorite and I won't be able to get them off my mind until I eat at least half a dozen.
ReplyDeleteFenced In. First thing that popped in my head!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, I thought Lots of Links
ReplyDeleteVery colorful. Sounds like you are having lots of fun. Wasn't the endless rain something else.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of European tiles - how about Barcelona??
ReplyDeleteHow about Honey Comb Links.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat pattern! Although the fabric is honeycomb, it reminds me of chicken wire.
ReplyDeleteWired In ?
Wired Links ?
Ovals Under Wire ?
Oval Underwire ?
I think Mosaic would be a good name and for 50 cookies you can use my suggestion!! Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite. It also reminds me of chicken coop wire but I cannot think of anything using those words. It is very striking.
ReplyDelete"Bee My Honeycomb" after that great song by Jimmie Rodgers. Only other I came up with was "Lordy, Lordy Miss Clordy" - I just love this runner - it speaks to me. Judy C in NC
ReplyDeleteIt looks great and reminds me of the little bands that they put on birds so I would call it Chicken Bands.
ReplyDeleteBeloved. Since it reminds me of wedding rings.
ReplyDeleteLoop the Loop was what popped into my mind.
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of the Olympic Symbols!
