You can close your mouth, I see the jaw dropping.
Yes....I know I sold all but one of my machines before moving.
Now I have three. Was that a snicker I heard? Don't judge me.
I needed a machine that I could carry to church or when I go to the quilting group that meets on Tuesdays.
We are starting up sewing classes at church...and I just didn't want to lug my big machine or share my machine (Okay, so the true me is coming out).
So I admit it.....my pfaff is my baby and well....you never know how someone is going to treat your machine. There I said it....
Been busy making these placemats. I have a gal that wants 16 different Christmas placemats. I have eleven made. I am so glad she said different, it would be a yawner if she had.
I don't blame you for not wanting to share your good machine. I don't like to either.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty table it will be to have all of the different placemats.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your new toy.
A church sewing group? That sounds like such a wonderful idea! I'm with you though, you never know how someone else will treat your machine so you're wise to take a different one. The placements are adorable too!
ReplyDeleteI totally understand why you bought a third machine! I have a machine I just use for sewing groups too!
ReplyDeleteI would have a hard time sharing my baby, too, so dont feel bad. Your play machine looks really nice!
ReplyDeleteNice new toy.
ReplyDeleteOur sewing machines know if we are not behind the wheel! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fun little new baby. I have never used a Necchi but I hear they are good machines.
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with that brand of your new toy. Love your placemats.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Can't hold a machine addiction back. ;)
ReplyDeletePretty placemats! She has something fun in mind, to be sure! A fun new machine, oh boy! I don't blame you for your reasons. How many times have I allowed someone else to use my machine at group and cringed the whole time!
ReplyDeleteGood for you, a girl needs her tools! I love making place mats and those are darling, sweetie!
