My husband doesn't even know my dirty secret....
My best friends don't even know, neither do my sisters.
Missour Star Quilt Co. might have an inkling...my sister Jeanette at Inchworm Fabrics
might have some sort of idea.....
Who would have thought?
It is all in this box plus another.
My heart exclaimeth "What Joy you Bring me"
Moda, Benartex, Riley Blake,Windham fabrics, RJR fabrics, how do I love thee?????
Stray charm squares from various projects...
Samoan charm squares..... my hands shaketh, my heart leapths at the thought of these squares.
In the silence of the night I hit buy on my keyboard and that is when I know in a few days these
charm squares will be at my door.
I love the sales at Missouri Star Quilt Co....in fact, I just purchased another charm pack today (oh...shhhh.....no one is suppose to know).
This does not count the countless packs I have given away.
You ask me what I do with these squares? Pet them....smell them...pet them again....
Do I have plans for them???
You bet.
I made this with one pack!
and this turkey took two squares for the feathers, one for the heart.
Oh the things one can do with charm squares.....and if nothing comes to mind...just sit and pet them.
Life is good!!!
Awesome Barb, they all look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI hear a sista!! Got me a couple shoe boxes full!
ReplyDeleteI also have a bit of a charm square addiction! I just ordered 10 packs when they were 6.90 at Green Fairy Quilts, ordered more from Missouri Star and finally picked some up at our LQS the other day. I am doing a Christmas table runner using the Missouri Star Quilt Company pinwheel tutorial. Love their tutorials!!
ReplyDeleteOh you are my kind of girl! We buy for the pure fun! However, I love what you did with yours!
ReplyDeleteWant to let you in on my secret? I am love with scraps!! We all have this little fabric secret, LOL!

ReplyDeleteyour post made me smile. charms are fun to work with.
ReplyDeleteI always pass up charm squares because I don't know what I would do with them. I think I need to hang around with you :*) Charm squares are a lot less expensive than yardage LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are not right. At least everyone knows my secret. I look at it everyday.
ReplyDeleteummm...thats a nice "dirty little Secret" thanks for shareing it with me ....I say hey as long as its not harming anyone go for it...It makes you happy and fabric petting and coveting is a great habit compared to say other nasty habits like buying illegal drugs or porn.. but they probabably never run those on sale in the middle of the night and I'm sure You would never have those bad habits anyway when you could be petting fabric at a fraction of the cost and it can last forever if you let it and keep it hidden.........lol and it usually doesn't land you in the slammer..
ReplyDeleteSsssssssssshhhhhhh! Your secret is safe with me. I'm sure no one else is the wiser......hehehehe
ReplyDeleteHaha! Looks like a lot of fun in them there boxes !
