I have to confess that I do like having fusible on a roll.
I know that Steam A Seam has it on a roll but I have had to order it. Having it on the roll makes for larger projects. Heat N Bond also has it on a roll at Walmart.
I used the Wonder Under on the Red streamers.....
1. easy application
2. didn't need steam
3. no gumming on the needle
I used the Heat N Bond on the hat and stars.
1. Easy application
2. didn't need steam
3. no gumming of needle
I did find that the Heat N Bond was a little heavier than the Wonder Under.
I actually liked using both products.
Haven't decided which one I like better, that will come with more use.
I did not have any issues with getting the paper to come off the back so that was nice.
Yes, I am probably a little late with this runner but I sure love it, you can find the pattern here:
I did order some Misty Fuse from Kelly at I Have a Notion and so look forward to trying this one out.
It is so nice to have so many options. At one time I would panic if I did not have Steam A Seam but those days are gone.
If you want to see the comments from others about some of these products go here I enjoyed the comments, very educational!

How fun is that Bea! Great job!
Barb, I've used both but prefer Wonder Under as it has a lighter feel to it. I have Misty Fuse but it is so "airy" and I don't know what to do with it. Looking forward to seeing what you do and learning something.
Barb, get runner. I do not like misty fuse, I find it is too thin to work with. I have been using pellon too.happy 4 th
Thanks for the info. I am confused about what fusible you should use for what project.
A very patriotic fourth to you, mother of military men! Well done.
That is a pretty cute runner! In fact I would call it stinkin cute!
Oh Barb, you runner is so cute. I like you, only used Steam a Seam but when I ran out I had some Heat and Bond in my stash. I really like it a lot. I am going to try Pellon next. Have a wonderful 4 th.
Barb, you really should steam set the Wonder Under. That makes it far more permanent. Of course if you are sewing it down, then it really isn't necessary. But, the steam really does set it.
Love the runner! great design!
I always liked using wonder under the best, cos it is lighter than the heat and bond, but have never tried steam a seam.Your runner is very cute and 4th of July-ish!
I love this runner, Barb! It's really a wonderful and unique design. It's cheerful and patriotic and it looks great on the truck too!
I'm wondering why you purchase the packages? Are they more cost effective? JoAnn sells yardage for fusibles over with the interfacings, and they are frequently on sale for 50% off (sadly, that sale ended tonight...or maybe it starts tomorrow, I need to check the flyer.) I don't think they have the Steam a Seam, but I do buy Wonder Under and Heat n Bond (in it's various iterations) by the yard, then I roll them up when I get them home and stand them up in a container with the rest of my fusible stuff.
