IS IT WORK? OR IS IT PLAY?

I have to say that I have gotten more done these two weeks being sick than when I was well. Last week I blamed it on the meds I was taking. They were suppose to make me sleepy but instead they made me run circles in my sewing room. Well....today I had quite the day in the sewing room. I think what happens is I am tired that I am able to maintain focus....sounds weird I know.

I had some left over squares in a basket so I decided to put them together and to make this runner.  I put two doggies in the corners.  I have the one dog kinda hidden because I forgot to stitch his ear.  I just love this one, so fun and fresh.
Then this one is left overs from the larger topper I did the other day. I had to cut out the middle of the hearts, so I just cut these out too and made a smaller one. I have enough hearts left over to make a pot holder. I had a blast stitching this one. I tried to do different FMQ in each white space of the hearts. Was so fun.
This one too is made from the left overs, is a smaller version of the larger one. I still don't know if I like this one.

My husband came in to my sewing room/James's room for now and said "You sure are working hard".....I said working or playing? I am playing hard. Been a fun day and I do think I am on the up swing of this cold.

  4. I would say mostly play, but there are a few parts that are work (like basting a large quilt). Love the little green dog.

  5. Love the doggies added to your topper! At first glance, I thought it was a print and began to wonder how you worked out the size just right, the Y seams to make him fit .... Then I clicked on the photo to enlarge.

The colors are really pretty for this one too.
