CHRISTMAS TREE SKIRT

Here it is laying outside on the grass.

Here it is inside on the carpet.
You can't see the sprinkles of glitter on it but trust me, this is a fun skirt. The only think I would have done different was when I was putting on the binding, I eased the fabric in so it would turn over nicely. That was a mistake, if I had just sewn without the easing I would not have some fullness. But hey, it is going under the tree. If I find you snooping under my tree to see that fullness....no presents for you this year! This was so easy... I guess I am in the Christmas Spirit, been prepping more projects today..... Don't forget about the beam n read giveaway below.

  5. Great job and I promise not to peak under your tree! I made a Christmas tree skirt (actually two of them) about 10 years ago and I still love them and use them every year. I'm sure you'll enjoy this for years to come.

  12. Super cute. Of course, I'm eager to learn how to make the cute ruffles that you make. They really add visual impact to this tree skirt. Can't wait to see it under your Christmas Tree.

  13. Barb I love your skirt! I'd be making one right now except I use one my mother made me and she's been gone for 8 years now so my heart won't let me let go of it. It's not nearly as cute as yours but since I cover it with presents it's the memory that's important. :) blessings, marlene
