DRUNKARD’S PATH TIME THREE

IMG_1243
Don’t these witches fingers look gross????  I think you would have to be drunk to eat them or hungry.  I made these for the scouts Tuesday night….you can get the recipe here

Now these are yummy.  They are just Ritz crackers with peanut butter in the middle dunked in almond bark……ummmm ummmm good.  I just put the bark in the microwave for one minute, stir and then put it in for another minute.

In November our church is having a day of service, so I was asked to help make quilt tops so the ladies can tie them.  As you see, I got out my trusty Accuquilt Go cutter...

I suggested that we bring machines and have them quilt in the ditch…for some reason tying doesn’t get to my happy side.

Don’t forget Ebony’s book tour, you can see the list on my side bar.

  1. The witch's fingers do look gross. I bet the boys loved them. I have tied a few quilts but I prefer them quilted. It wouldn't take long to do the quilts in the ditch.

  5. Tying just doesn't sit well with me either Barb, It always looks like you just couldn't bother, I guess when you were just making quilts to keep warm it was different. Those witches fingers are sure gross looking but boys love gross.
Thanks for the kick (sweetly) to get my go machine going.lol. I bet Halloween was big at your house with all of your boys. I just finished Jonah's costume today he is going to be a spider. Blessings Sandra

  7. Your quilts are great. And, I'm sure the witch's fingers were a hit with the kids. I'm always surprised how Ritz crackers taste when used to make cookies. You've been busy.

  11. For years we did a Halloween dinner and home evening called "Witchalena" with funky Halloween food. The kids want to do it again but it's so hard to get everyone together. I've printed out this recipe just in case I ever get back to doing it. I better, after all I bought all the Halloween dishes to go with it years ago!!

  13. Gross fingers! I'll bet the boys loved them though. I have been asked to bake something for Halloween, but nuts are not allowed at my daughter's school. Too bad. These would have been perfect.
