GETTING READY TO GO TO MY FIRST QUILT RETREAT!!!!! WHOHOOOO

 

So…that being said….I will be gone much of this coming week….oh yesssssss

    I've done three 3 day quilting retreats - they're a blast! It has always been a positive experience for me and I know it will for you too. Can't wait to hear more about it!

    What a tease!!!!!! Beautiful fabrics, but no clue as to what you are going to create with them. I'm sure they'll be beautiful.

    I remeber the first retreat I went on when I first started quilting. I went with a suitcase full of fabric and my change of clothes in a brown paper bag. Some of the girls still talk about it today. Have fun.

    Hope you have a great time! I'll be going on retreat in a couple of weeks. I'm already getting ready by making kits for myself. Take more than you think you can get done! It's nice to have choices of things to work on.

    Oh so wonderful for you. I have been three times to quiltretreat in US together with some lovely ladies that I first met in cyberspace. I was the only Swedish woman among all American quilters and it was sew fun.
    I have been in Louisiana and in Missouri, it took me 24 hours to get there from Sweden, but it was worth it.
    I am sure that you will make some wonderful things with the beautiful fabrics and I am sure you will enjoy it very much with lots of laughters and sew much creativity.

    oooooo, I love those green prints, oh and that red one! I am still hoarding the Samoan fabrics I purchased from you while you were still over there. I see them every day, and occasionally pet them. Enjoy your retreat, lucky lady.
