FALL LEAVES CUTOUTS

Well....I have this project you see......

I cut out like a million oak leaves (exaggerating of course, but it sure feels like it) and......

well....I have switched gears.....I didn't like how it was going, felt so uninspired....and just didn't want to
do it any more.....but once I switched gears, changed colors....the light bulb went off....and well...

needless to say we are a happy camper except I have a ton of oak leaves (exaggerating again).

While I was cutting out the oak leaves I would cut the scraps out as well....

So....I figure I can just slip these in an envelop for someone.....just leave a comment.
They might not be exactly like these (my disclaimer).

I am also giving a set away at Inchworm Fabric's blog.

Winner will be picked Sunday?  I think that is what I said on her blog...yes.....just leaving a room I can forget.

----------------------
By the way, the two winners of the Reindeer games have been notified but they have not contacted me...if by Sunday they do not contact me, I will choose two more winners.

  8. this is your project? Fall is coming and the leaves will be a falling! Best time of year here in Vermont. You can do a lot with leaves, placemats, small art quilts, big quilts - or just put them in an envelope and send them to an admirer in Vermont;-)

  10. I did similar years ago, wanted leaves to applique around a holiday table cloth. Hadn't thought it through when it came to stitching around a hundred leaves- lol
ended up making napkins and appliqueing a leaf to 12. That cured me of my leaf fixation. I used cookie cutters as my templates.
Do NOT enter me in your give-a-way- thanks for letting me remember a long ago project (that probably still is sitting in a drawer somewhere!
Can't wait to 'see' what you are doing with yours. cw
