You can find Carroll's here. Caroll has been totally amazing. She has been my babysitter this last two months while I have been in transit and moving. I bet she felt she didn't sign on for that. Thanks Caroll, it has been so fun doing this with you.
I would like to thank all of you for coming by and participating.
Here is the giveaway, I added a spool of Gutermann thread and two emery boards.
This part of the giveaway is for those that actually made reindeer, so I will give those people time to get their pictures on flickr or you can just comment and lead me to your squares or email me.
Now the rest of you....you are thinking.... But Barb....I had too much going on to do those Reindeer, too many UFO's and I just couldn't start another project. Well....this next giveaway is for you.
These Charm squares.......just leave a comment, tell Caroll what a fabulous job she did in drawing the reindeer, if you want you can tell me how clever I was to think of the idea (laughing here). Stroke our egos....HA!!! No seriously, just leave a comment.
Thanks again, it has been fun!
Hi Barb
ReplyDeleteI saved the reindeer to work on later! and you were incredibly clever to think of such a great idea!
Well you already KNOW that I think you are very clever and a talented designer. Carol did a fabulous job.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much - BOTH of you. I have collected all of them and it is now on my "To Do" list. I loved everyone of them.

Barb, what a wonderful give away. I just updated and told my readers to check it out. I don't know why you can't get into Google! Glad things worked out though. You've been a jewel to work with. If it hadn't been for you our Games would never be. You are a special friend!
ReplyDeleteThe drawing was superb and the idea was brilliant!!
ReplyDeleteI can only enter for the charm squares, as , like you, we were involved in a move to a new state (unexpectedly too- hubby was out of work for a year and was hired for a job that he thought that he did not get and we had to hustle and move from Ohio to Missouri, as he had only ten days to start the new job!)
ReplyDeleteI just love reindeers :)
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed the Reindeer games. Great idea Barb and Carol did do a great job drawing too.

PS - Please don't enter me in the giveaway. I simply wanted to share that I really have enjoyed this fun event.
Thank you so much for these super patterns! I've had fun stitching away on my reindeer--still have two more to accomplish. Have enjoyed every reindeer!

Google Docs doesn't work for me with IE but I can use it with Firefox, give that a try. Love the reindeer - thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteCute reindeer. I am not in Christmas mode yet.

I'm in the "just-couldn't-start-another-project" category....but have been following along and enjoying both your and Caroll's talents! You both did great! Love Rudie by the way - he's quite the handsome guy!
ReplyDeleteYou all are so clever, well done!
ReplyDeleteCaroll, your artistic talent
ReplyDeleteis oh, so, so impessive!
These cute little reindeer faces
are incredibly expressive!!
And, Barb, what a cool idea you had--
when you dreamed up this "Reindeer Game"!
You could have published these in a book,
for the two of you-- fortune and FAME! :-)
But thanks to you both for freely sharing
these cute, cute, wonderful blocks!
You generously shared your talent with us!
Ladies, let me say, "You both ROCK!" :-)
Well, I didn't join in on all the fun---
now I really wish that I had...
Such adorable Reindeer blocks you've shared!
But, I've saved them for future use, you see..
and for that, I am certainly GLAD!!! :-)
You're clever on thinking of the idea. Both you and Carroll did a fantastic job on this project. I have saved them to do in the coming months. Health reasons in the family has kept me from starting on them already. Thank you both again.
ReplyDeleteCaroll did an awesome job drawing all the reindeer. I sure couldn't have done it. I only wish I'd have had the time to do these but I just have too much going on with family and a few health things so I just couldn't do it. (one of my twins moved in with his family and three dogs so it's kinda turned our house upside down for awhile until we can find a new routine...but the biggest plus is I get to snuggle with my 6 month old Granddaughter anytime I want to now that she's living her for awhile YAY)
ReplyDeleteI would be absolutely thrilled to win the Yuletide Magic charm pack. I LOVE that fabric collection and don't have any of it. Thank you both for all the hard work you put into this. Great job.
Thanks for your cute reindeer patterns!
ReplyDeletelove all of these but didn't have time to try thanks for the giveaway

I love them all and I'm doing them as embroidery and as applique--2 quilts for Christmas--thanks to both of you!! Need to charge up the camera to take some more pics!
ReplyDeleteIt has been fun watching the reindeer come alive, hope to join in the fun next time.
ReplyDeleteRudolph is just as cute as the other reindeer. I am excited to get my quilt finished and put together. Thanks to you and Carol for this fun BOM.
ReplyDeleteOh fabulous haul you have put together for the participants giveaway. I have paused on number 5 as it seems I cannot stitch a snowflake that looks like a snowflake, oops. But the others are drawn and I am determined to have them finished this month. This has been a blast and you and Caroll have done a brilliant job with the reindeer and running the quilt/stitch-along, thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteAnother cute one!! Can't wait to see them all together!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'd like to play along next time too. Summer is such a busy time for me...well, all year is, but I spend more time inside once summer is over :) YOU were so clever to include a giveaway for those of us that didn't participate...THank you! Now I am off to see these blocks; the one pictured is a cutie...well done to the artist!
ReplyDeleteI give you both "attagals" for coming up with the wonderful idea and execution of it! I could not play along this time but maybe in another 'game'! Now you need to put the cute quilt pattern up on Sis's site for sale!
ReplyDeleteLola
I have LOVED seeing the Reindeer blocks materialize (pun?). They are delightful, and hopefully SOMEday I will participate! Thanks for having this fun project!
ReplyDeleteIt has been delightful to see the Reindeer materialize (pun?). They are really quite fun, and I wish I could have participated. Maybe sometime in the future? Thanks for your inspiration and talent!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your cute, playful Reindeer set, Barb and Caroll!
ReplyDeleteI have collected them all and soon will shrink them down a bit to start embroidering them for my 2012 Christmas AMC postcards.
Happy Stitching and hugs from Germany,
Bobbi
I think my first try didn´t work...but I wanted to be sure to thank both of you, Barb and Caroll, for your wonderful reindeer set--they are so sweet, and I want to downsize them soon so I can start embroidering them on my Christmas 2012 AMC postcards!
ReplyDeleteHappy Stitching and hugs from Germany, Bobbi
Though I couldn't sew along, I did enjoy visiting to see the next reindeer games installment. Thank you Carroll for your artistic contribution of drawings, and to Barb for your original and fun idea.
ReplyDeleteYou are both awesome. Such talents amaze me. I have no talent so I know good talent when I see it. I would have liked to join in but I have so many other obligations already that I just could not take on one more. I have saved the posts and hope to put this on my bucket list for when the snow flies and I don't want to leave my nice warm house so I hibernate in my sewing cave.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get to participate, been to busy with hubbys illness, but I did enjoy seeing the blocks...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are having fun with the reindeer projects. Thanks for sharing your ideas and for creating a giveaway for the ones ( like me).
ReplyDeleteI feel very fortunate to get a chance to participate in the draw.
Regards from Western Canada,
Anna
I love the reindeers pattern. Too bad I can't join the stitch along.
ReplyDeleteLove the reindeer! Thanks for sharing the patterns. I saved the patterns and am collecting the fabric. This will be a 2013 project.
