I finished this quilt yesterday. Oh….how I love the Samoan Fabrics.
As most of you know, I am getting ready to move, I have come across so many unfinished projects that I am truly ashamed.
Here is one that I truly do not like, it annoys me just being around. If you by chance like this, just comment, if there are more than
one taker, I will choose the lucky (unlucky) person tonight. There is the top, without a border, I have included the left over fabric and binding fabric.
Next, I don’t know what I was thinking….
My sister is giving away this runner pattern free with any purchase of Indian Summer Fabric…..
but I failed to tell you how much fabric you will need if you wanted to make this.
1 Yard
1 fat quarter
1/4 yard ( or 1 fat quarter is you buy jumbo rick rack and use that in place of the prairie points)
1/4 yard
This is a pdf pattern and can be found at Patternspot.com or this week-end at my sister’s store. She has not downloaded it yet and for those of you who are not familiar with her, she always sends a hard copy for you if you order the fabric.
There you have it, now I am off to the races…..have lots to do today. Hope you all have a fun filled day.
Your work is always so pretty. If you don't want the unfinished project, I'll take it. I am teaching a friend to sew and quilt and it would be a good thing for her to practice with.
ReplyDeletethanks

i enjoy reading your blog..
I wish I had a room full of the Samoan fabrics. To me they are just beautiful. Oh I really the quilt you finished yesterday and the UFO.
ReplyDeleteBarb your blue and white quilt is simply gorgeous! xo
ReplyDeleteI love that blue color! I'll happily take it off your hands! :0)
ReplyDeleteI would love the 'ugly' quilt - would donate to Sarah's group for their ministry quilts - it would certainly wrap someone in love.
ReplyDeleteI love your UFO and would love to have it. I see lots of possibilities -- for ME or for my charity quilts that I do every month (2 for local hospital). Either way -- moving is a blessing and a curse....I admire your cleaning out now...it pays off and I speak from experience. Was living it this time last year! Good luck.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a great quilt to me Barb. I will be having my 14 year-old granddaughter with me for a couple of weeks in June and would like to get her going on some quilting. This would be great!

ReplyDeleteBarb, I think you're CRAZY! :) I love that quilt! Maybe I should come help you pack so you don't get rid of other beautiful things you've made! And the blue and white one is so pretty, too! I love Hawaiian/Samoan fabrics! They make me so happy just looking at the bright colors and pretty prints! :) Have a fabulous day! :)
ReplyDeleteUm, can my name be in the pot, too? Heehee! Love your Samoan fabrics....if I wasn't on a restricted fabric diet, I'd be all over those at Inchworm! LOL
