My friend received her quilt and shams and was so sweet to send me a picture. I just love how it hangs down the side of the bed. Now to make me one. Why are we always the last?
Today is pattern making day....I have been so busy playing with my friend last week (we went to JoAnn's twice). She helped me tweek the one pattern I hope to have out to you this week. I know, I keep saying that but I keep playing....today...
IS WORK day!!
Okay..I said it, now you can hold me to it.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter.
Wow, that quilt and shams look amazing on that beautiful wood bed.
ReplyDeleteWow, that just turned out lovely. Yes, time for a quilt for you! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHer quilt looks great.
ReplyDeletePlaying with designs is always fun and helps to work some of the bugs out.... go for it!!
The quilt looks absolutely fabulous and I think you need to make one for you too ;-)
ReplyDeleteBarb, this quilt (and the matching shams) is lovely! You did a terrific job with it! Happy Easter! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect, Barb and I KNOW your friend loved it! Okay, cracking the whip here....get to work! :o) (It's okay to play and have fun, too!)
ReplyDeleteXOXO,
Cyndi
The quilt turned out so beautifully. Yes we are always the last on the list :-(
ReplyDeleteGood for you Barb. Looking forward to seeing it.
ReplyDeleteIt's just beautiful. I like it so much, I want to make one similar for my daughter's bed.....in the future, when she has no more cats. I already have the fabric picked out! Looking forward to a peek of your new pattern.
ReplyDeleteDon't feel guilty. All work and no play make Barb a dull girl and you are far from that! I'm glad you had a chance to play. I can't wait to see what you are coming up with...
ReplyDeleteMy Easter was wonderful and I hope yours was too.
I like when a quilt hangs down low too. It looks great!

What a beautiful set...the shams are wonderful. We so seldom make shams to go with our pretty quilts, but what a great idea. See, you are inspiring even when you have a play day! LOL
ReplyDeleteYour quilt looks awesome and it also looks to be in a proper place of honor. Beautiful job with it, Barb. Yes, now one for you!
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteOh that is just so pretty!! ya, we never get done what we need to for ourselves, do we?
ReplyDeleteOH, just go play. I am no help, am I?

ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful!!! You don't have to make patterns today if you still want to play =D
ReplyDeleteYour quilt looks fabulous on the bed! I love the pillow shams. Now go and make yourself one. But I will understand if you don't. I do the same thing; always making things for others and never for myself.
ReplyDeleteDon't ask me to hold you to it...I'm your friend...I say do what feels good girl!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry!
Kelly
