I don't like this new blogger, I can not get to my dash board to read all of your blogs...can someone help me? I don't like change and this change is for the birds.
Okay....I did it...I found where it says OLD INTERFACE and switched back to it...whohooooo
thanks for all of your help and fast response...I am a happy girl now...doing the dance.
I don't like it either, but go to the new blogger page and on the right you will see a wheel and click on it and you will see several things and one is old blogger interface. It will give it back to you, but you may have to do it several times when you close your blog. Mine is working fine again. If you need anymore help just email me.
ReplyDeleteBarb, I read in google reader. There hasn't been a change there. I haven't blogged in a couple of weeks-I hope I can figure it out!
ReplyDeletei couldn't agree more! mine is messed up too, Barb!
ReplyDeleteWww.blogger.com/home gets me to my dashboard...don't know if that works for everyone, but worth a try! Sometimes change is NOT good!

Hi Barb... not sure if I have understood what you want... but I have found two ways to go to dashboard....
ReplyDelete1. if you are on your home page click on design (top right middle) of your page... and when that opens you see a big orange B on the top left... when you hover over it says 'Go to bloglist' click that ...
2. if you are on someone elses page on the top right it says 'Dashboard'... that will go straight to the bloglist page
Scroll down and you should see Reading List - you may have to press the arrow to show them all - you should have all the blogs in your reader
I hope I have made sense and it was the answer to your question....
Good luck
Hugz
Having the same problem. Hope someone can help us both!
ReplyDeleteDo you use Google Reader? Maybe I don't have the new blogger. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteI am in the SAME BOAT Barb. I vehemently dislike this setup & do not appreciate change one bit. No dashboard, don't know what to click or not click for fear of screwing something else up ... ugh! You can write them feedback like the rest of us & let them know you are very unhappy.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend ~

I can't help, but I sure can sympathize!
ReplyDeleteTake me back with you, Barb.
ReplyDeleteI read your post and quickly hopped over to look at my dashboard and I can't find it either. Hope someone helps you cause this just stinks. I hate when they change stuff cause I am pretty computer challenged. It just isn't second nature to me like it is for others.
ReplyDeleteOK, I just signed out of blogger and then back and there it was, but a new format. Finally figured if you hit the little blogger icon on the left top of the blog tool bar it popped up. Don't know if that made any sense at all but hope it helped.
ReplyDeleteHi Barb, if I type in www.blogger.com, that brings me right to my dashboard. Let me know if that works for you. I am on the road but will be checking emails later. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI was just trying to find my blog list & it's located in the upper right side (top) - 'MY BLOGS' click that & it will take you to your list. Took me some time to figure it out...lol! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Barb! I've been using the new interface for a while now. The easiest way to get to your reading list is to click the Blogger "B" icon in the upper left corner of your screen. I hope this helps =D
ReplyDeleteIts definitely a change. I haven't posted yet in the new format, but I refuse to avoid it because it changed ~lol~
ReplyDeleteI think I see all the blogs I subscribe to. A blog roll is there. After you scroll down, I see "view more" and see more when I click on it. I sure hope that's right cause I don't want to miss ANYTHING.
Have a great weekend.
xx, Carol
I am with you on this topic - some geek had nothing better to do I guess. Just hopping mad over here at Shade Tree Quilting.
ReplyDeleteI just click on dashboard then on the left side of the screen click on "my blogs" and then click on "reading list"
ReplyDeletehope this helps
I hate it, too. I went to settings where there was a place that said something about the old version or old interface. I clicked it and it went back. I first sent a feedback that I hated the new version. =)
ReplyDeleteI didn't like it either so I changed back to the old interface .
ReplyDeleteI click 'next blog' then my dashboard prompt shows up on the top right.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you I do NOT like it one little single bit!!!! I want my old Dashboard back!!!!
ReplyDeleteIs it new? LOL...all I have is my smartphone for the summer, and I feel really challenged keeping up with only that. Please(!), don't change things now. ;) Good luck Barb, I don't like things changing either.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could help Barb...mine seems to let me see them all, but I like the old interface better.
ReplyDeletesometimes you need to toggle back & forth between old and new dashboard, to get something the way you want it in blogger. Unfortunately, this also risks any unique code you may have incorporated into your blog (e.g. for me it was numbered comments).

Thanks I found it when I clicked on one of those gear looking thingys..Glad it's back to the way it used to look!!!
ReplyDeleteYesterday when I signed in, my dashboard is completely foreign to me. I do not see any place to make a new post on my blog. And I noticed that I cannot unsubscribe to blogs that are in my reader ??!!!? How did you get to the new old interface. I don't see what Willow is talking about.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean and lately I have been mobile blogging from my iPad and it is darn near impossible on the new blogger
ReplyDeleteWe're all going to be forced to use the new blogger format soon. I hate the new blogger format; but, since I will have no choice, I am trying to learn how to use. I hate change especially one as drastic as this one. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteyou can change it Barb but it is only temporary...you will have to keep changing it back and soon they will be taking away the choice...we will all be forced to adapt to the new interface....
