ON THE HUNT AGAIN!!

So Yesterday I blew the dust off my machines and got busy with some totes for the Young Women that will be coming into my class during the year. I just felt since I will be moving by May I need to get these done so no one will feel cheated, I will pass these on to the next leader.

Oh…didn’t I tell you we were moving? Sorry….moving to San Antonio, Texas. Do I hear a Yeeee HAWWW!!! We hope to be out by May or the beginning of June, would be sooner but I have some responsibilities.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo (some people know how to make a short story long). As I was looking for something…..I spied this Christmas wrapping Paper.

My mind went….HUMMMMMMMMMMMM

So I measured it. HOT STINKING DOG…..this roll is 30 inches long. You are saying “So stinking what”….

I did a 30 inch square.

Then I went and measure and got this:

Oh my goodness….remember all of those round runners? No more using tape to put several pieces of paper together for a template….I got this circle cut out in matters of minutes.

I HAVE THIS IDEA IN MY HEAD SO I AM ON THE HUNT AGAIN ….. I just have to remember to put things away and not leave them out….can make a mess faster than anyone.

IN MY KITCHEN….I just saw an old “Quilt Show” episode and Alex Anderson said she went to her kitchen for templates….Oh yes…. GREAT MINDS!!! Oh…I know I don’t belong up there with

Alex but hey a gal can dream????

  18. You are a jewel Barb. Moving to Texas how come> I have been to El Paso and Rockwall Texas to visit my best friend but never to San Antonio. Do they have golf courses? Will this be a good move? I am an expert at packing too.

  19. Okay so now I am wondering what is going on over there. What are those circles going to be? So you are moving again. I think I remember that you wanted to go to Texas more than where you are now. Hope all goes easy and well, but you move around so much that you probably have it all worked out.

  24. Moving again? Hope you saved the boxes...My guess is that you've got it all down to a science. I know we do. For the last move I only had one empty box left. That was a pretty good guess...

Can't wait to see what you do!

  26. Great idea to use the wrapping paper. Much easier than trying to tape papers together.

I always wander around the house trying to find things that are the right size to trace around.
