So from Drab to Fab!!
The competition is called SLICED and you can find the rules at Moda Bake Shop. For this round, you have to use a Moda Precut, batting and a buckle. It has to be an office or studio Accessory.
I made a pillow for the back or bum. The buckle is in the back, it attaches the pillow to the back of the chair or bottom. I can not tell you how many times my butt pillow has fallen when I have gotten up. Really irritating, now it won't.
The deadline is February 29th, let your creative juices flow and go on over and enter!!
So very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGood for you Barb. They are both great. Best of luck!

Barb, love the trash can cover and very clever cushion with a deco pin to hold it in place. Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Barb! Good luck in the contest! xo
ReplyDeleteLove the pillow. I don't need a pillow as I have a comfy chair but Daughter complains that her chair in my sewing room is too hard and that she needs a pillow. Buckle would be ideal as she is a wriggler - not for her the pillow :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely . I cut bits into regular width strips . I use them for diary covers ,or sewing rolls
ReplyDeleteThey look really good Barb and you come up with some very clever ideas :) Hugs Vicki x
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Good luck.
ReplyDeleteYou will win. That is the most beautiful trashcan I have ever seen. I see a tutorial in your future. I love the pillow and that fabric is luscious. I need a pillow for my chair. May have to put that on my project list.

ReplyDeleteGood luck Barb!!!!! I love your entries!! You are so creative. I never would have though of putting a buckle on the back of a pillow to keep it from falling off. I probably would have just used Hello Kitty duct tape or something lol!!!! Oh and your trash can is too cute to use now =P
