As usual, true to form, I had other things that needed to be done but I veered off course again.
I remembered that I had sandwiched a quilt a good while back. I am blushing at the fact that it was so far back I can't remember and and...and...I haven't quilted it yet.
I definitely need more practice but boy is this fun!! I will show you the front when I am finished.

I'm trying to work up enthusiasm to put my Birdie sts, quilt on my frame but the frame is set up in the garage and it's a cold day
I think it looks great! Enjoy those boys of yours.
Looking good! Freehand or with a patern drawn at the top?
Giving in to the "hankers" is good. I'm pretty sure the boys will keep you hopping while they are home :0)

as a beginner FMQer, I am studying your picture!! Can you tell me, do you stop and start each pattern set or is it continuous? It looks great!

Oh! Beautiful quilting! You do such a nice job!
I am trying to stay focused and get a few things finished, but I might get sidetracked too, because FMQ is just so much fun.
Nicely done!

Enjoy the boys!!
Barb I keep trying to machine quilt but I just get over whelmed. I can do small things like place mats and runners but when it comes to quilts I just can't cope. Any advice? I also have joined FMQ Challenge but it just doesn't prepare me for large quilts. What size needle do you use, and what type batting? Anyway yours is lovely and I am just envious . Blessings
I love how round your loops are. Mine are always jerky. Great job!
Wow your FMQ is looking really good. I am impressed!
I looks great Barb! Way to go! I know about that have to, need to - want to thing. I have a hard time doing what I need to do.....
Nice stitching - enjoy the boys!

Pretty design...anxious to see the quilt front that it is all for!
If that's the back of your quilt, the front will be award winning ;-)
very pretty Barb, can't wait to see the front.
Lovely quilting! Me thinks you may need to come down here and practice on some tops! haha! Enjoy your boys!

Lola
