THIMBLEBERRIES SEW DAY
Well, this one slipped through my fingers....but I do have a free pattern site for you, go here, some awesome Thimbleberries patterns.
So...did you join us, well....since I just popped my head in to say hi...
Don't forget the PICK Four Blog hop tomorrow, look on the right to see where you need to go.
So as you know if you read my post from below, I spent my day reading this awesome book. My husband comes home and says, wow...the house sure looks nice. I am thinking to myself, all I did was the dishes and clean the shower curtains.....hummmmm
I guess since all of my sewing is not all over the kitchen table and counter he feels the house is clean. Hummmmmm (I should have told him that I worked so hard all day and was tired)....HA!!
Cute patterns! I see some I will be checking out a little closer. Did you finish your book?
ReplyDeleteIt is good to take a day now and then and relax with a good book.
ReplyDeleteSpray Lemon Pledge in the air everyone thinks you have been cleaning allllll day.

Love the quilt. It looks fast and easy. How do you like "The Help?" I must be the only one who has not read it yet. Soon!!
ReplyDeleteLove this pattern. Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteI'm continuing the sew day tomorrow. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWell, now I want to go make some hourglass blocks. CUTE!
ReplyDeleteThat was the perfect opportunity to do the rice crispy treats thing - splash water on your face slump in a chair and say how exhausted you are from a full day of house work - we'll keep the truth between us quilters
ReplyDeleteLovely little quilt, Barb. It looks like a fun pattern to do. I've spent many a day wrapped up in fiction land. My DH wouldn't know a clean house from a pig-sty, so I don't have to worry about that. 8)
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Susan in Texas
Thanks for sharing the website. Printed off 3 patterns. Don't know when I'll get them made up, but one can never have too many patterns! Nola
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute runner......
ReplyDeleteOh yes, always talk about how you spent hours getting the house all clean LOL. I forgot to say that I love your new blog header :0)
ReplyDeleteCrispy
I like the runner. Do husbands know the difference between "Clutter" and "clean?" I have read the book, too and liked it. Are you going to see the movie? I want to.
ReplyDeleteWhat he doesn't know won't hurt him or you, lol! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLove that quilt - perfect for this time of the year.
ReplyDeleteI am sure you just smiled and nodded.
ReplyDeletelol!!! I used to have a friend who would cook up onions and garlic right before her husband came home from work. He thought she had been cooking all day.
ReplyDeletesuper cute runner Barb
ReplyDeleteCute pattern! I may have to do it next month. My sewing machine is giving me problems again. I may have to replace it.
ReplyDelete**maybe** you should **clean** more often!! Of course, you wouldn't get all of those fabulous projects done! LOL!! What they don't know won't hurt them, right?
