I also used the Funky Flower die, heart die, and 2 1/2 strip die. Now the die for the Sun Bonnet Sue does not have the band for the hat, I just did the band on my own so I could put those lovely buttons from ButtonMad on it. Nope, still haven't found my other ones (buttons)....
I still have some quilting to do on a few squares, Mr. Horizon and I were not getting along Saturday so I just closed down shop. My husband says it is operator error (how could he???)...how could I????
I just love green and pink together, this quilt is pretty scrappy....but I love it!
Thanks to all of you who responded to my blogger problem, I have the problems fixed and I am a happy blogger now....
Barb, your Sues look wonderful! I like the top left Sue, she reminds me of a turtle lol. Glad you were able to get your blog fixed.
ReplyDeleteWow you got that done quick! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you did the majority of your cutting with the GO. The fabric and colors are great! Love the quilting,
ReplyDeleteI know I have not been online much lately but I must say I was surprised to see that quilt finished , wow you are speedy and it is adorable too!!
ReplyDeleteBarb, your hatbands look so good with this that I thought it was part of the die. I have the Overall Sam die, when I start using it, I will now have to add a band on his hat!

ReplyDeleteQuilt is so cute, love those little Sue's and flowers.
ReplyDeleteYour Sue is gorgeous too, Barb. Machine applique, right? You would not BELIEVE how much some of my bee members complained about the quality of their own handwork. Two seconds after picking it up to begin the block, "This looks terrible; I can't do this right." Argh! Just give it a CHANCE, you know? Sorry, had to vent! lol
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Susan in Texas
Very cute Sue quilt, how nice to have the dies to make quick work of it.
ReplyDeleteOh some of these old fashioned blocks are so priceless. Love it, love it. I have seen one that is just one girl in the centre of the bed. She must have been 50" big! Fabulous and hand done too.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I have a Go Baby but not any of the applique dies yet.
