THIMBLEBERRIES SEW DAY! WINNER OF GIVEAWAY

This is the Pattern I have had for years......



I went to my store upstairs and chose these fabrics....
and well....that is as far as I have gotten today...My mother is visiting and I am down to crunch time on a quilt....gotta get it done. Now that I see these fabrics together in a picture, I think I am going to change the red and the plain green.....



This is the quilt....the back....you saw these fabrics before.....no showing the front just yet but I spent a good portion of the day putting this back together and redoing the borders. Talk about messing up a border....oh my gosh (NEW BEGINNER HERE)...

not the sharpest knife in the draw that day but hey...it is all better now.




Winona from Cat Lover and Quilt Maker won the Sun Bonnet Sue Giveway.

Patchworks Jen and Cottonreel are getting a set as well... I know, I said one winner but I just couldn't help myself.

    Woohoo, thanks a lot Barb. I will send you my address in a bit. We actually got to about the same place on our Thombleberries Sew Day. I didn't think I would have time to sew today, but I did pick out a pattern and the fabrics to go with it. I will post about it in a minute. Wow! Now I can actually make a Sundbonnet Sue. (grin)

    I'm Thrilled to receive a sun bonnet sue package .I have been real short on sewing time lately with gardening and preserving but tonight I,m going to make a start , to prove my intent I shall put my first block on my site tomorrow and hopefully one each day following .I,m off for my tea and then to sew, Bye
