While most of you are melting, I am freezing. I forgot my jacket (yes, some of you told me to bring one) so we had to go buy one and some enclosed shoes.....poor me. HA!! We all know that I am an island girl and would rather be hot than cold.
Well...I finished this stitchery...(remember I am traveling so it is wrinkled)
I am working on this....
I found the most amazing site, if you want to improve your embroidery skills go here to Helens, I found her through BubzRugz Thanks so much Fiona for this awesome link. I hope some of you go to Hugs from Helen, She is teaching how to do stems right now....can't wait to get home and get going on it.

Very cute!
You should come to Los Angeles. So far we have had a wonderful summer. I hope I didn't jinx myself.
Love your stitcheries! Sorry you're so cold! It's 95 here and the heat index is 106! We're melting!! LOL
I wish you could send some of the Seattle cool weather to me :) Your stitcheries are adorable.
Happy stitching!
I heard that Washington state is on the gray side. Only 73 here in Long Beach at 2:00 pm today. I'm OK with that actually.
Your stitcheries are lovely. Did check out Helens about the stem stitch. Good information.
Oh to need a jacket and closed toe shoes. I'm green with envy. The stitcheries are adorable.
Your stitcheries are alovely... I like the girl in the bath's hair!! Glad you like Helen's site.... I am still getting the courage to do the stem stitch!!

Guess I should have warned you, I just read an article about Seattle's weather...they've had about 28 minutes of degrees in the 80's this summer. Everything else had been in the 60's and some 70's! Come to this side of the mountains...it's a bit warmer...no jackets required except in the evenings. You'll warm up in Moses Lake.
Love the stitchery patterns...you are so good!
So that means if I want to cool off I have to go to Seattle? Ha! I love your little stitcheries! Thanks for the links.

Your freezing and our heat index is 107! Thank you for the link, I am heading over! Love your work!
Hope it warms up soon - I got caught out in the pouring torrential rain in London yesterday (picture wading through a river) and had to throw out my shoes and buy a new pair of jeans! Come on summer!
I'm going to go check out that blog. I was doing a little embroidery last night and since I do it so seldom I had to tear parts out :0)

Hi me again, the embroidery site was great and caused a great chain reaction of other embroidery blogs. Guess what I'll be doing for a while this morning LOL. Thanks for the link Barb and I forgot to say I love your new block :0)

Great progress on the stitching! I don't feel sorry for you needing a jacket since it will be in the hundreds today in south Jersey. Cooler sounds great to me! ;)
98 degrees and humid here... and I prefer cross-country skiing weather. Yup... I'm jealous... Prayers for your friend's daughter. And I love your colorful quilts!
Yeah you picked the right time to travel to the NW from the East Coast! We are sizzlin over here!!! Cute stitching there!
Wow, Barb - it's not freezing here. How about I fan some air back that way? ;D
Oh how I wish you could ship me some cold. Love your embroidery.
Have fun while traveling!! I will send some of this 97 degree heat your way! lol Thanks for the link. I am learning to embroidery and I am excited to go and check it out. LOVE your embroidery!
As my Mama always said: "When it is cold you can always put on more clothes, but when it is hot there is a limit to how much of your clothes you can take off!" We're traveling too and we nice and cool while in CA , ID & OR. Then we entered Montana and it got hot. We're in SD now and it is still hot. Tomorrow we leave for ND, so I hope it is cooler there. We just can't take the heat!
it's been freezing just north of Seattle too!
love the stitcheries; thanx for posting that link.
