So my question to you is....am I wasting my time doing this? Maybe if I used solid blocks in the middle for the windows? I was being lazy and just used Charm Packs....
This is that 3 Seam block....but I made it 5 1/2 inch blocks.....hummmm you can find the You Tube here
I think I will just wrap this up and make it a runner...and call it a day.....
This looks complicated. I love the fabrics and think a runner would be perfect for summer.
ReplyDeleteIt is busy but I like it.
ReplyDeleteSeveral of my lap quilts ended up being runners - if I'm not happy with it I just can't make myself continue. It does look complicated - curves - scary!
ReplyDeleteLooks hard to me -I vote for a runner! But the colors are Happy!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a nice little challenge. I am like you tho...if something is complicated for too long it then becomes a table runner :) hugs Vicki
ReplyDeleteIt is busy looking, but very cheerful. A runner would be nice - not as much going on as a full-sized quilt. I love the cathedral windows block; it's on my quilting to-try list.
ReplyDeleteI think it's screaming table runner. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you have just had enough of a certain project and it is better to make something with it instead of it becoming another unfinished work sitting in a cupboard. It does look complicated.
ReplyDeleteI think it is lovely and I like that you didn't use solids for those center pieces. You've made this simple square look very complicated and like you have really put a lot of time and talent into it. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteI like it...I really like it!
ReplyDeleteI say if you don't love it move on to something else. We all have way too many projects to spend time doing something we're not happy with. Make it a table runner and call it a day.
ReplyDeleteI think this will make a lovely table runner... I considered using charm squares, if I was actually going to start a project this year, which I'm absolutely not...
ReplyDeleteI would say that if you don't like it then it's not wrong. I love the blocks though. I make glying geese in a similar way sometimes, so they have curved edges.
ReplyDeleteIt's too busy for my tastes too. A good choice to move on to something else that will make you happier IMHO :0)
ReplyDeleteCrispy
Yes! It's screaming to become a table runner. I love the colours!
ReplyDeleteI think there is just too much in it Barb, the plain would work well. But I do like the charm squares you chose.
ReplyDeleteLet it become a table runner.
