"Doest thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that's the stuff life is made of". Ben Franklin

So my question to you is....am I wasting my time doing this? Maybe if I used solid blocks in the middle for the windows? I was being lazy and just used Charm Packs....
This is that 3 Seam block....but I made it 5 1/2 inch blocks.....hummmm you can find the You Tube here

I think I will just wrap this up and make it a runner...and call it a day.....

  1. This looks complicated. I love the fabrics and think a runner would be perfect for summer.

  2. Several of my lap quilts ended up being runners - if I'm not happy with it I just can't make myself continue. It does look complicated - curves - scary!

  3. Looks hard to me -I vote for a runner! But the colors are Happy!

  4. Looks like it was a nice little challenge. I am like you tho...if something is complicated for too long it then becomes a table runner :) hugs Vicki

  5. It is busy looking, but very cheerful. A runner would be nice - not as much going on as a full-sized quilt. I love the cathedral windows block; it's on my quilting to-try list.

  7. Sometimes you have just had enough of a certain project and it is better to make something with it instead of it becoming another unfinished work sitting in a cupboard. It does look complicated.

  8. I think it is lovely and I like that you didn't use solids for those center pieces. You've made this simple square look very complicated and like you have really put a lot of time and talent into it. Great Job!

  10. I say if you don't love it move on to something else. We all have way too many projects to spend time doing something we're not happy with. Make it a table runner and call it a day.

  11. I think this will make a lovely table runner... I considered using charm squares, if I was actually going to start a project this year, which I'm absolutely not...

  12. I would say that if you don't like it then it's not wrong. I love the blocks though. I make glying geese in a similar way sometimes, so they have curved edges.

  13. It's too busy for my tastes too. A good choice to move on to something else that will make you happier IMHO :0)

  15. I think there is just too much in it Barb, the plain would work well. But I do like the charm squares you chose.

Let it become a table runner.
