Krista from Amerika Samoa made this quilt.....she says I helped her get started with it....all I know is I so love these colors and am so grateful for her friendship. She made this for her mother for Mother's Day!
I am actually old enough to be her mother. We have discussed this a time or two and well....sometimes friendship knows no age limit. She is an amazing mother, daughter, and friend.
Didn't she do a splendid job?
Happy Mother's Day to all of you....and to my own mother and sisters out there!!! Hope you all are treated like the qeens you are!!
Krista did an excellent job. Wow, she has a wonderful eye for color. Which I was as good as she is. Excellent. Love it and I'm sure her mother will too.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with you 100% true friendship doesn't care about age.

ReplyDeleteFriendship knows no age limits. I have friends at least as young as 14 and as old as ---well probably over 80.
ReplyDeleteBarb , she did an amazing job because you are an amazing teacher. Happy Mothers Day my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteI love her fabrics, especially the border fabric. Isn't it great that once you're out of high school that age doesn't matter at all?! I have friends of a wide variety of ages and we truly never think about it anymore! Well, maybe if someone is having a birthday but it just doesn't matter.
ReplyDeleteThumb up to the teacher! Krista made a wonderful quilt. Happy Mother's Day!
