A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN IT'S PLACE

While growing up I heard this a hundred times.

Here are my storage bins.

No longer do I hunt for a rotary cutter or scissors (I guess some of you thought I didn't have enough)? This is so wonderful, it has restored some sort of organization to my sewing room. I am trying to get rid of alot of things....I can't stand clutter......but I can clutter up a space in no time flat.....I guess sometimes I am my own worst enemy.

Today I am going to rat out my husband.....well...not really rat...praise him.

Never have I had to empty his pockets, pick his clothes off the floor. He does not make messes (maybe in the kitchen with crumbs....or dishes).....he does not clutter things. If you were to see his side of the bathroom you would wonder if someone was there...but if you looked at mine....(oh....my....I guess I am ratting out myself....). I will stop while I am ahead.

  1. Those are terrific bins--almost a quilt in themselves. And, good job choosing a husband. And he must not mind you and your ways too much because he keeps you and doesn't seem to be suffering from the decision.

  3. Would you mind sending your hubby over to teach mine a thing or two? Maybe he'd listen better to a man. Chuckle!

Love organization ... great cart. I have a couple similar.

    Have a beautiful day ~

  5. Sounds like my husband, neat and tidy. The way I see it they make us look "bad" but I think we are really normal.

  7. Before I had a designated sewing area when the house was finally clean I'd mess it up in a heartbeat and pull out my sewing. It's like I couldn't stand it too clean. I've always called it rebelling against my mom's incredibly clean house but maybe like you I was my own worst enemy. You'll love being able to always find your things now. Baby steps.....

  18. LOVE the colorful drawers!! I was just noticing how hubbies side of the bathroom mirror is always clean...mine, not so much! Why? Mine is a keeper too, he washes dishes, dusts and will vacumn.

  19. I hsve lived with roommates both in college and early in my work life. I find that I am as neat or as messy as the roommate. Now I live alone and see that I really need a NEAT roommate! ha ha.

  21. I love your bins!! Could your hubby give mine a blood transfusion....maybe mine will get the tidy gene that way LOL. The only time he cleans is right before I get home from a trip. I would really hate to see what the house looks like before :0)

  29. I like these colored bins better than the plain white ones. Gives the room some added color and fun.

Your Husband is a keeper. I told my Husband and kids a long time ago, if you leave things in your pockets then they will go through the wash. I never remember to check pockets.

  31. I have looked at these draws so often, I wonder are they stable or do they rock? And are the drawers easy to pull in and out. I would be interested to know whether you think they are big enough?
Maybe I should just go buy some.
