PREP WORK!

Sometimes do you find that the prep work takes longer than the actual project?

I have been cutting these fabric scraps (and true to form, there are more scraps left than when I started...are they like worms, you cut them in half and they multipy)? I don't get it???

These fabulous scraps will make these key fobs......oh yes....when I get on a fettish, I ride the boat all the way in.....no stopping me.....until I get my fill...

Good thing it is not chocolate!!

  5. I love your little key fob, but how do the keys attach?

  6. Do you do those on an embroidery machine or did you make up a pattern? I have a pattern for my embroidery machine that is fine. But yes prep work does take longer than the sewing itself.

  10. I always feel that way.

I love key fobs! I buy mine though. I'm not good with putting gadgets together. Like snaps and things. They always want to come apart on me.

  12. Really like your key fob. Do you have a pattern to share it is much nicer than the one I did. I too agreee the scraps just keep on growing no matter how you cut them up.

  15. Key fobs are very low calorie--even exercise. ALl that cutting will tone your arms.

  20. I love the key fob, where did you find the pattern. I agree getting ready to do something takes up so much time. My thing I hate most is cutting out fabric. It seems to take me twice as long as it did five years ago. Getting old I guess.

  24. Those are so cute! I just made a few key fobs last week and they are so addictive! I like these with the fabrics though. I did mine with cute ribbon and webbing, but I have soooo much more options with fabric! Thanks for the idea!

  25. Looks like you'll be making a lot of them. They do make useful keepsakes. I don't know how to make a fob, but I do have one and it's so easy to find it in my purse.
