Have you ever cleaned house and no one notices?
Well...I am cleaning my blog....I wanted to make a book out of it but it was toooo expensive so I am getting rid of alot of giveaways post I did and the likes...and yes, this post will go away too. Maybe if I cut back the book will be in my price range!
It's fun cleaning house. Hope it turns out exactly like you want it to. Hugs
ReplyDeleteClean is good!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a good idea because I wanted to make a book too!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you need a 2nd blog. One to store stuff.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you ordering your blog book from? I did 1/2 a year about 70 posts at Blog to Print. It was only about $50 with a real hard back cover. It was great quality and I printed it with the economical layout. I did learn to change my sig line. I use to have a set pic but then had every post with that pic! Now I use random pics and I cant put in anywhere else.
ReplyDeleteI hope that house cleaning your blog doesn't mean removing tutorials! I come here all the time for your vast array of great tutorials! I do hope that the posts make it down to a printable size for you though, your blog is such a treasure!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Barb, your post made me laugh......sometimes we need to clean house.....had thought of book form...as well....maybe one day...hugs lyn
ReplyDeleteI don't care for house cleaning and I'm sure I wouldn't be a fan of blog cleaning either lol. Like anything else, we do what we have to in order to get where we need to be.
ReplyDeleteCleaning is good. I need to clean my sewing cottage~ again! already! eek! Hope you are having a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhen I made a book I just went in and labeled the posts that I wanted with a certain label. Then set the setting on the book site to only look for those labels to make the book.
ReplyDeleteCleaning is good. You'll end up wondering how you managed to keep so much 'treasure' !
ReplyDeleteGreat idea making a blog book, have fun making that. xo
ReplyDeleteOh, that will be so fun. I should do it too but not sure I would want to pay for it! lol
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Barb. I bet that book will be memorable, with the Samoa days thrown in there, too.
ReplyDelete:-}pokey
So I better comment before I get cleaned - lol. Another option might be to only do between certain dates too, and then space the cost out and do the next lot etc. What a lot of wonderful memories here for you... look forward to eventually hearing how it goes!
ReplyDeleteI periodically clean up my blog too. The ones that I plan on getting rid of I usually lable as Just Talk so I know what to get rid of. I will also edit out the parts of posts that aren't quilt related too....except the family ones :0)

I've seen other people turn their blogs into books. What a nice record of all you've done. Good luck getting it all to fit.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know you could do that, make a book of a blog. Nice way to save it forever!
ReplyDeleteHey Girl! When you get done, you want to come over to my house and clean it for me? LOL! I need to do something with my blog, too. It needs to be organized a bit better I think!
ReplyDeleteXOXO,
Cyndi
Good idea Barb...the same goes for me, I looked at making a book too, but it was going to cost too much.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking a seond blog..
Julia ♥
Interesting about the blog book, good luck!
ReplyDeleteOh geez....I thought you were actually cleaning your house...the one you live in....I was going to tell you not to....better to go to your sewing room and stitch....the house only gets dirty again...no point!

Just did the book thing, but I only printed one year to see what it looks like on the Insanely Cheap Blog, I'm thinking about cleaning up the Splittingstitches blog and doing a book for that one too. But think I'm going to keep it by year? Let us know how it turns out, my book is on it's way.
ReplyDeleteTry FLYlady.net. I've been doing it for several months now. Great way to get a handle on CHAOS (can't have anyone over syndrome).
