HOLD THE PRESS.....MAKE SURE YOUR DENTURES ARE IN GOOD SO YOU DON'T DROP YOUR TEETH!!

Someone is sick here in Virginia......

My husband took me to JoAnn's today, I was armed with a 10% off everything coupon, a 40% coupon and as I am getting out of the car, my husband says...buy what ever you want. The sky is the limit!!

Oh my gosh...did I hear that right!!! Whohooooooooooo

but.....

but.....

but.....

I must be sick, I only came out with ten dollars worth of stuff..... see Nanci, I have gloves.

What is wrong with me....should I call a Doctor? Maybe I should have brought a friend?

Putting cold compresses on my head right now.

So......that being said.....

husband is upstairs....

I got online to I Have A Notion....oh yessssss baby....we aint too sick over here (well...maybe mentally sick)...just ordered me two Patsy Thompson DVD's for free motion quilting..... You all know how much I love Kelly, and no she did not pay me to say this...she is one amazing lady....maybe he should just tell me the sky is the limit in Kelly's store...hummmmm

wait just a minute, I will go and ask....

  1. Now doesn't it just figure that you don't find the tons of stuff when hubby makes such wild and generous statements such as this...hope it's extended to Kelly's. You make me laugh!!

  2. Just let my husband tell me that and I will show him where sky is. lol Barb, you need to see a dr. Unless, you made up for it at I Have a Notion.

  3. You must have to plague if you spent only $10 with big coupons like that!

  4. That happens to me all the time. I go into a store and say "Hey, get what you want"! and find nothing. the next time, I see tons!!

  5. I've done that before too. When I hear sky's the limit I freeze up a bit. Then I can't decide what to buy.

I have those gloves. I love them for free motion quilting. Wouldn't try it without them. Oh wait, I did in the beginning and it was awful.

  6. Oh, he's a gem. Better hold on to him tight! Now, you go take your temperature; you must be terribly ill!

  7. What a good girl you are. Of course everything is always on sale at JoAnns so you can't use the coupons!

  8. Ha Ha You must have been in shock.

I finally found a LQS. They had everything I could ever want but oh such snooty employees. I miss my old LQS. It was so warm and inviting.

    Hope you like the dvds!

  10. oh Barb you are too funny. Sometimes that happens to me too. I usually buy batting at Joanns and quilting notions every thing else I get else where.

  11. LOL, Like when I go to a huge sale at the quilt/fabric store and can't find a thing I want.

Kelly is wonderful. We love her.

  12. Oh.My.Gosh! How generous of your hubby...and isn't it just the pits when you get the "go ahead and buy" directive and then can't find anything to buy! (I was in Joann's today too and almost bought that exact same chalk cartridge set - honestly, you and I are sooo much alike!) Hope he gives you the go-ahead for IHAN, too!

    XOXO,

    Cyndi

  16. That's not much for "the sky's the limit", is it? Ok..confess up. What did you buy from IHAN?

  17. They do that sometimes, you know. They use that reverse psychology on you, and you're so stunned that you can't figure out what to buy. LOL

  18. Good thing my DH didn't tell me that today. I priced the Bernina embroidery software at my LQS today. $2150.00!! I managed NOT to say, "Are you effing kidding me?" to the sweet lady that priced it for me. I should get extra points for that restraint, don't you think? I left without buying anything, though I did leave my serger in for a tune up, which won't be cheap, but it's only its second one in 20 years, so I guess it's worth it. 8)

You're going to love love love those gloves!

    Happy (free motion) quilting,
    Susan in Texas

  25. Soooo....? What did he say??? What else did you order??
You know, the last time I was in JoAnn's I really couldn't find anything either... so I order on line as well. And their idea of coupons leaves a lot to be desired.

And be sure to let me know about the DVDs. Have fun! ...Karen

  26. Isn't it funny when you can have anything you want....you learn there is not much you really want afterall? I have found that to be the case too.

Also, even if he says you can order anything and everything from my website....I don't "have" to fill the order you know. I do love you and have your best interest in mind....you choose two excellent DVD's I must say....but if you were to order a ton of stuff I didn't think you would use or need....I'd just cancel the order....so there....cuz no one needs a ton of stuff they can't or won't use.

    Hugs,
    Kelly

  28. Too funny. I get the same sickness sometimes too. But I'm currently in need of some needles, so I'm going to pop over to JoAnns today too. Thanks for reminding me about their 10% off coupon.

I'm sure you'll love Patsy's DVD. My goal is to get them all. They are wonderful. Just like Kelly (and you too!).
