Here is what I have been working on.

Jeanette over at Inchworm Fabrics, has these awesome Western Fabrics. So I created a design just for those fabrics and as soon as I have all of the instructions together, she will be offering this free pattern with every purchase of her Western Fabrics.

This is just a flimsy, I will have to find some backing fabrics when I am away.

  1. Great design, Barb. And you have my "sympathies" that you must go fabric shopping for the backing. LOL!

  5. Cute!
Glad your teaching has been going good too girlfriend. It is a learning experience for the teacher as much as it is for the students. ;)

  6. No I don't want to be a cowboy....no can do....but now a Cow Girl....oh yeah baby...count me in. At least for the clothing. I rode a horse into the mountains in Glacier National Park for a day. I walked bowlegged for three days....so I think I'd like to be a virtual CowGirl! :)

  13. Oh my Barb, I've been away too long, you've been busy! I love the owls and the quilts, you always do such beautiful work. And teaching classes too, wish I was there.

  14. You are so very talented. Amazing that you can look at a line of fabric and create your own beautiful design. Cute fabric and super duper quilt. Makes me want to put on a pair of cowboy boats and kick up my heels!

  18. Love this quilt Barb. Reminds me of when my son was very small. For about 3 years he would only wear "cowboy" clothes--jeans, plaid shirt, bandana, cowboy hat and boots! Well, he was born in Texas after all. LOL!
