STAMPED DRUNKARD'S PATH

You would think someone loved the drunkard's path over here at Bejeweled, this is the 3rd post this week about them.

Well....how about a little giveaway? This pattern?

I also have a little tip to keep the seams going in the right direction. For some reason I like the wrong side to look good too, not saying that it always does....Mrs. Perfectionist wanna be over here....but hey...I can try. Will give the tip tomorrow (hopefully, don't quote me on that one...just know, soon...a tip...non commital here).

So just leave a comment...and Friday I will chose the winner.

Go to Inchworm Fabics to see the pattern she is giving away.

Today (really tomorrow for me), I am taking my Go cutter and doing a demo over at the Human Resource Department....how fun is that?

PS: I am thinking of revamping my blog....I think maybe it is too busy? I know I just added eveyone's blog to a list but that may have to go.

  4. I have been admiring all your drunkards quilts. My mom started one once and I think she may have some templates somewhere. That is such a pretty pattern you are giving away. Would love to win it.

  5. What's not to like about that pattern? It's fantastic. I love that pattern you are giving away. The fabric with the white spots is stamped on using fabric paint - right? Don't know if I would be able to do that. But I would love to win so that I could give it a try.

  13. Okay Barb. I really like the Drunkards Pattern, and will give this a shot in the drawing. That pattern is different than any I have done. I do like what you've also been doing with it. The Drunkard's pattern goes way way way back to the 1800's. It was traditionally made in Turkey Red and white cottons. Thank you for sharing.
    Happy Quilting!

  14. Barb,
I forgot to tell you that I've really been enjoying you showing the Drunkard's Path, and I can't get over what you've done with it.
    You've made some nice things.
    Happy Quilting!

  15. Hmmmmmm! I think that Drunkcard's Path is a stamped pattern, right? That means one would have to iron it onto fabric? It's not a cut out pattern? I think it's different than what I thought if it is an iron on, right?
    Happy Quilting!

  16. Isn't it funny how quickly the AccuQuilt GO! can change our approach to quilting & blogging? Definitely influences how we quilt.

Can't wait for your tip tomorrow. I always have had an embarrasing back side!

  17. Barb, I find your blog easy to read, what you call 'busy' does not interfere with your posts IMHO

I just know I'll need this Drunkards Path pattern - as the drunkards path GO! die is one die I certainly do want. NOW, to WIN that GO!

Sounds like you are going to have a good day doing your demo at HRD.

    Hugs & ♥♥♥s,
    Gerry

  23. Thanks for having this pattern giveaway. I really like your drunkard's path quilts and I'm anxious to try your tips...ok, I'm ready for the next tip too!

I think your blog is great just like it is. I don't have any trouble finding anything but it's your blog and you can do it any way you want. I love blogging with the freedom to "create" our own little sites. We control what they look like and I think it's wonderful.
