"WHAT IS IN A NAME?"

I am laughing, you can see where I am going with this.....

I used to play this game all the time in Texas while riding one of those bikes that you can actaully sit down in....my boys hated that I pigged the computer.

So when it came time to decide on a name for my blog...

I thought...and thought...nothing would ring in my ears (but this game)...

Then one day as I was looking at this screen....

all the bright colors....the vibrancy of it all...

Yep...so I chose Bejeweled quilts.... I think it fits me... I love color, pazazz... a little spark here and there.

My one son asked me, "Mom, why do you like this game so much?"....my answer was

and if any of you have ever played this game....it gives out KUDOS!!!

Every once in a while it will say EXCELLENT.... GOOD.... gotta get KUDOS from somewhere

So, when I would have a long day at work...sit down at the computer and I would hear

WELCOME BACK!
GOOD
EXCELLENT!!

My son would just roll his eyes and I would keep playing. I lost the game when my computer crashed...just now found it for $6.95...whohoooooo...so if you think I am sitting around sewing up a storm .... WRONNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG .... guess again....because I am
EXCELLENT
and
GOOD

I didn't know this but a few months ago I found out that there is a fabric line called Bejeweled...

  1. When I first came across your blog that is the game I thought about. I use to play it online all the time. I like when the games say nice things to me too. Makes me smile and I don't care how much the kids laugh at me.

  12. And all along I thought you were bedazzling your quilts :). We quilters have such addictive personalities...without your boys there to beg for the computer, I predict you'll be sleeping less...at least that's how it works for me....Hello, My name is Susan and I'm addicted to Mah Jongg Dimensions.....

  14. Girlfriend you are / were not alone. I played and played and loved every minute of it. Rick thinks somehow I've cheated because of my score. It pays to have excellent awareness about changing patterns....in this game anyway,....LOL.

  19. Barb, that was so funny. I never would have guessed that is where you got the name. One of my favorites on yahoo for the longest time. Did you know you can play it on facebook? They have a version of it there. And I loved it when it would give out the kudos too.
