SIGH..................
SIGH........
sigh........
so bored......
I could sandwich my orange slice quilt?
I could finish 4 other quilts that are sandwiched?
I could finish my Thimbleberries wall hanging?
sigh.....
sigh....
don't want to do any of that....
sigh....
I could pull out my GO cutter.....
hummmmmm
the twinkle returns to my eyes....
the wattage in my light bulb increases.
I just didn't want to cut and not have a purpose.....
So............ I got six fat quarters that Ryan gave me from "I am just a guy that quilts".....going to make a 4th of July quilt....
Ironed them.
Got my 2 1/2 inch strip die out.....and cut those puppies up....with no real pattern in mind.
That only took a few minutes......
Started sewing....and this is what I came up with....
I hope all of you have a safe fun Holiday Week-end!!
Happy 4th of July!!!

ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Did you make the cross patterns on purpose? I think you must have since it worked out so evenly.

ReplyDeleteI'm continually amazed how fast you are at idea to completion. And your GO! just made you faster.

Happy Fourth to you! The runner is great. I needed another idea for a runner and here it is. Easy and quick too...thanks for the inspiration. I'll be doing mine in Christmas fabric. Every time I read your blog, I get more tempted about the Go Cutter. I didn't think I needed it but who says we have to need something before we buy it??? I'm going to give into my temptation and buy one. Thanks for sharing so many ideas.
