ALL IN A DAYS WORK!!

As most of you know, Krista came over on Wednesday to sew. I had cut out some Ginger jars for her and so when she came over, she got busy on those.

While she did that, I started cutting more 2 1/2 strips from my Go cutter.....because the jelly rolls are just about gone out of the store...one left.

As I am cutting, my husband calls and says that my dies are in. Kelly and I gave them up for lost or the slow boat from China. We had been emailing and we figured out that Customs must have them because there was no custom form.

My husband brings them home to me at lunch knowing that I was anxious to get them.....and sure enough.....they had been rifled through and then left open with tape all over it to keep the items secure.

So Kelly was so wonderful that she sent a second order on Monday (wouldn't you know it....I get these dies right after)?? Kelly from "I have a notion" , is so awesome, she is true to her word and she stands by her products and she delivers. She has lost alot of money with lost items this month....so if any of you that have a Go cutter and want these dies, I can send them to you???

There is the hexagons, parallogram, flower applique, drunkards path, and six 1/2 inch square. I will have to ask Kelly how much all of this is but it sure would help her out if someone would step in and let me send you the second shipment??? If not, that is okay...
Soo.....I hurried up and did my strips....and got busy with this drunkards path....only minutes before I had me enough cut out for a quilt. Yes, it is bright but so is the light in my eyes....HA!!
Went out to dinner with my husband and company from off island or I would have had some of these sewn.

Then....used my 6 1/2 inch die...already had the appliques done for a while. It is not like I need any new projects...but oh...this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fun.

"Sew Cal Gal" sent me this book. What a fun surprise...sure put a smile on my face, not as if the Go dies didn't do that already but man....what fun. Can't wait to read this book, I was just wishing I had a good book to read...and wham...as if Darlene knew what I was thinking.

If you have a Go cutter, have you noticed that the dies have that new car smell??? AHHHH, I wonder if I put one under the seat of the truck if the aroma will fool the mind into thinking I am driving in a new truck?
