She does a puzzle....
and yes, it had to be an ocean scene.... I am an island girl if I ever saw one.
I did buy a yo yo maker yesterday but can't decide on the fabric ...... if I was home, I would have tons of scraps.....if I click my heels together, you think I would make it home?
Just realized that I never said when my giveaway will end....lets say May 1st...why you ask? I may not have internet next week so we will just leave it for then....
Good for you, I would shop, watch TV and eat!!!
ReplyDeleteI love puzzles, haven't done one for years, maybe I'll pick one up. Have fun.....just think of it like this....you're on a diet...a sewing diet! lol
ReplyDeleteAre they going to send the machine back to you in the states?I like the puzzel. Have a better day!!HUgs, Marie
ReplyDeletedo you get homesick for Samoa?
ReplyDeleteI like puzzles also Barb, this one is a beauty. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteI love to do puzzles! The whole family gets involved. There is always a fight over who gets to put the last piece in though. When it gets down to the last few pieces, I put one piece aside for each family member so they can all put in the "last" piece. The only problem is hubby thinks he so funny...he hides a piece or two so we all freak out thinking there are pieces missing. Rotten BRAT!!
ReplyDeleteI love making yo-yos! I haven't bought the makers yet. I think the heart of flower shaped ones would be fun.
Oh I used to love doing puzzles! I know you'd like to have your machine all healthy and by your side, but this looks like a nice diversion! Will you mount it for hanging when it is finished?
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice-looking puzzle. Did you finish it yet?
ReplyDeleteIt always interest me to see how people put a puzzle together. Some do individual parts of it and others do the outside first, like you are doing. That's the way I do it too. You didn't buy any fabric when you bought the yo-yo maker? I'm disappointed. Go buy some fat quarters! And clicking your heels together will only get you to Kansas, I think.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I bought a set of yo-yo makers some time ago.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to see it. But do have numerous, numerous yo-yo's ready for any occasion.
Perhaps my next giveaway will be embellished with yo-yos.
Hugs, ♥♥♥
Gerry

ReplyDeleteduhhh.yes I entered to win the green madness......i'm so not with it and can't focus on anything right now. please ignore the loony girl
ReplyDeleteI have an easy answer to fabric for the yo-yos....go the the thrift store and get men's cotton shirts in XXL and cut them up. You can usually get them for a dollar or two. It is a great way to get some unusual fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI used to do puzzles for hours! I need to bring that habit back.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful puzzle. I love puzzles too! BTW...May lst is my Wedding Anniversary.
