HAWAIIAN QUILTS - FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE

If any of you have been to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, you will know that it is almost a city within itself. As you walk around there are stores and display cases and this is a quilt I have long admired and wanted to share it with you. Sorry about the glare on the glass.

The next stop is a little store "Moana Quilts", they have kinds of Hawaiian quilts, pillow, purses etc.... and did have a pillow quilt kit but that is all as far as quilting supplies.

The next two pictures are from "The Country Store"

My husband told me to leave all money and credit cards in the hotel....hummmmm didn't listen. Told him I had not plans to buy anything.....oooopssss until I came across this pin cushion....hummmm

  1. What beauties you showed us! I would have wanted the pincushion also and the blue bag.

  2. There are gals i my area who have done Hawaiian quilts and they are NOT easy. I really enjoyed these photos. Thanks for taking them. The pincushion looks huge, but I"m thinking it's just because it's not near anything else in the photo! It's very pretty, too.

  6. Thanks so much for sharing pictures from my home town while I'm freezing to death in "sunny" southern Calif-it's making me homesick! Good thing I have my hawaiian quilting with me! I've only gone so far as pillows, but it's a nice portable thing to do! Mele Kalikimaka & Aloha!
