ADDING SPICE TO A WHITE KITCHEN TOWEL
So my niece and I have our heads together, she designed the muffin, I brought my own ideas to it and this is what I came up with. I did my own lettering but you can find lettering anywhere but if you are interested in mine, I would be happy to scan them over to you (ooops...better make sure my scanner is working...oh....better yet, make sure my husband has scanner working...been out of commission for a while).
So..............here is the deal...comment on my blog and you will win this towel as part of our giveaway. Then go over to my niece's blog and check out what has been added to it, along with my niece's applique design, free for the chosing.
Blog about this and you get 3 extra points...order from her store, Inch worm fabrics and you get 10 along with 10 entries for the quilt below.
My niece has a background in the food industry, she told me once what her major was but I can't remember for the life of me but that being said.....
As a special bonus...here is a Blueberry Muffin receipe
Go to the store and get a poppy seed muffin mix....don't use the poppy seeds and add your own fresh or frozen blueberries.....Easy enough?
If that is not easy enough, just go buy you a blueberry muffin mix.
And you are saying to yourself....is she serious????
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup cooking oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Grease muffin tin, or use muffin cups.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Make a well in center and put to the side.
In another bowl combine egg, milk, and oil. Add to flour mixture.
Stir until moistened...you do not want to over stir, so you will have lumps.
Fold in 3/4 cups of Blueberries....I put more....because more is better!!
Spoon batter into muffin cups. Fill about 2/3 full.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
ummm ummmmm good.
your recipe made me laugh! before I read the real one....I am heading on over to inchworm fabrics....

I came here via InchWorm and I got to InchWorm via Crispy Quilts. :-)
ReplyDeleteCute towel! I bought some blueberies on the weekend so that I could make some blueberry muffins. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face when I saw your 'go to the store and buy...' instructions. Too funny!
