6" 9 PATCH BLOCK A DAY CHALLENGE

Over at the Quilted Sisters (see side panel) I took the nine patch challenge. I have seen this on others blogs and well....I decided to do it....so.....one block turned into

two blocks which turned into

21 blocks....

Believe it or not, I took the challenge this last Friday.... Like Lays potato chips, you just can't eat one....I just couldn't stop with one block....I just kept going .........and going....and going....now I am the energizer battery (watch too much TV). What is nice is, they go so fast that while I am waiting for some of your blogs to pull up on my screen (not the fasted internet), I can work on these while waiting. These are just from Friday and Saturday...no Sunday sewing for me....it is my day to rest and read.......rest and read.....maybe eat in between.....look at your blogs....rest and read some more.

  10. You are doing great with these blocks. I pin my strips together while watching TV and then zip into my studio and sew the seams between commercials and then zip back to watch my program and pin some more. It really is amazing what can get done while waiting.

  11. I didn't join either - cause I just seem to be behind a lot lately.

But, your blocks are adorable...they will make a great little quilt.
