That way, if it's crooked, it's okay! When using 2 WOF pieces to make a back, I slipt one in half and add a half to each side of the full WOF piece. Your quilts get folded in the center alot and alot of pressure or stress is put on those seams. Quilts that are used typically get folded on those lines.
