I love it, even with the slit, and I'm sure I'm not the only one! Your completed mat turned ) out pretty too! That tutorial was very clear and I loved your tip about the dog ears. I've been using that method (or a similar process with a string (but that always stretches) for years, but I never thought to make dog ears!! VERY clever!

Hope you are staying warm!!!kchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15012014316959117841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1906296252131082397.post-3339331120362769292018-01-18T13:57:16.605-05:002018-01-18T13:57:16.605-05:00Congratulations Kansas Kay!

Appliqued to the right fabric, one would be going bug-eyed seeing the two different designs and not sure which it is! Love those types. OK, I am not so shy as to say, I'd be glad to adopt your orphan ..... or win the ready-made mat!

You're the best Bejeweled Barb! :)QuiltEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08744400931929314306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1906296252131082397.post-76192628156433016172018-01-18T12:00:47.555-05:002018-01-18T12:00:47.555-05:00No, I am not bored. I would take your oops in a heart beat and hang it on my wall for all the world to see. Or at least my YouTube followers lol. Could it be fixed with a piece of fusible underneath the cut or maybe an applique on top? Sometimes I just don't want to deal with an oops anymore and prefer to just pass it along to someone else.

I love your circle tips. I always have that little V and never could figure out why. Now I know how to avoid it.
