TIME TO GET ORGANIZED!!

Since I have decided to stay in the smaller room, I am reorganizing and hanging things.

This was an Island Batik Challenge which I loved.  It reminds me of Amerika Samoa.  I was actually waiting til I got in the larger room to put it up but now this will be my sewing room up it went.  It is put up with pins and command strips...haha....but hey, it works.

Oopppsss how did he get in here?  This is my youngest grandson.  I have never seen a happier baby or big baby as he is.  Lots of kisses and hugs going on.  I am sure he wishes I would just leave him alone.   He is only 6 months old at 30 pounds.

I saw this at my sister's house.  The rest of the story later.

So I went to Micheal's looking for the said cart and decided to get this, I am calling it a pocket rack.  Notice I already have it junked up???  I hung curtain hangers on the side for my scissors.  I am trying to clean off my work space for more cutting room.

The rest of the story.  So I showed my sister this rack.  She went out the next day to Micheal's to get her one, same color and everything.  I found humor in this and still do.   Somehow this cart is in my sewing room as well, just like hers, don't know how that happened???

Oh that looks like an amazing addition to your sewing room!! I saw something similar at Ikea, but I didn't have room in my budget. LOL Beautiful grandbaby, they do grow so fast, don't they? I love your wallhanging!

haha, it is funny how things hop into your cart at Michaels! I have the same cart. ;)

Love your organization. The quilt looks great and the pocket rack cart is a wonderful idea.

I am a middle child......and growing up I wanted EVERYTHING my big Sis had....even to actually getting the SAME comic book at the drug store....My big sis tried to explain to me that if I got a different one then WE would have 2 comic books to read but NO...I HAD to have EVERYTHING the same...and to this day she never lets me live that down....lol......I actually was fortunate enough to get one of those lovely carts a few years ago at Michaels...love it! What a pretty wall hanging....perfect for your sewing room! And that is an adorable baby...please let the Mom know she is obviously not getting enough nourishment....lol....all my babies were chubby like that....what an angel! Good to see a post from you

So when you sweetly call that grandson your “big boy”, you sure aren’t kidding. Ha. He’s a cutie. What a Great Wall hanging to see while you sew new ones. You can dream of the beach in the middle of cold winter. I find it terribly difficult to resist storage and organizing gadgets. I love being organized when sewing but I sure can get messy. Just gotta take this cut immediately to the machine to sew it. No time to put away the rest of fabric piece that I won’t be using. And then more come out...............Ha! You know how it goes I’m sure.

For me, the cart would be a place to pile things up. I know that I have a problem with piles!

Your grandson is adorable! He doesn't look like he's 30 pounds!

I have one of those carts in my sewing room too :-) Guess I will have to go to Michaels and see if they have the rack!

That’s a great addition to your sewing room! I love the color and can see why you also added the cart. That little guy is adorable! You’ll get a real workout caring for him. Who needs a gym??? He’s going to need to walk soon! I love chubby babies.

I have seen lots of my weaving friends use a similar cart from IKEA. If I had more room, I would have several of those carts. LOL.

Your curtain hangers for the scissors is a clever idea. I have some S-hooks that I use for hanging things- very similar in idea.

Love the idea of the pocket rack. I don’t have a very big sewing room so the carts (even though I would love one) just wouldn’t be practical. Maybe I can find some wall space?

I have a similar cart I got from Amazon....yep it is full. Do I have pegboard on the wall with some wire baskets, and hooks to hang rulers? Yep and my space is still a mess. Love your wire pockets. What a sweet baby, no wonder you can't help slipping in a pic here and there.
