ISLAND BATIK SCRAPPY BIN DIVING

Instead of dumpster diving, I am diving into my Island Batik Scraps and retrieving orphan squares, flowers, quilts and seeing if I can get them out of my bin.

I was playing around with my Accuquilt Go Qube Set, and in them was the kite die.  That is how I got these flowers and these are the actual practice flowers I made.  I have since made two other project using this flower.  I do not claim to have come up with the idea but for me in my head, I discovered the potential...

Here are the two other projects using this kite die.

We will see what I can save next!

Something must be wrong with me, I have posted more in one week than I have in a whole month lately.  I am trying to do better.

Have a fantastic Saturday!

Those placemats are adorable, Barb. Good job using up pieces from the scrap bin.

I'd say that was productive diving! That is a good die to have.

Wowser. What great finds (creations) during your dumpster scrap bin dive. I absolutely love them all. Total #CreativeGoodness.

You are so clever! This is one of those "Now why didn't I think of that?!?!" posts - I have that die and never once thought of using it to make a flower - LOL - ;))

Love your placemats and table topper. I don't have a cutter thing like you, and I love seeing what you do with it. Great job! Isn't it fun to make something from those scraps that keep accumulating?

Delightful! I was four days without electricity following Dorian and did some bin diving, too! It was amazing what I found! Some blocks and UFOs hadn’t seen the light of day in years!
