This is the Jelly roll race quilt or 40 minute quilt. I do have a border on it now but am too lazy to take a picture....yep...lazy lazy me.
Here is a you tube for you
She is using scraps.
Monday I was able to make this quilt. I wanted something to match my
table runner.
Can't wait to get it quilted...but today I am working on a UFO.....taking advantage of the snow.

fun quilts.... waiting for more snow tonight here 8-12" yippee, just hope we won't lose power though, that would take my sewing time away.
Barb, that was an awesome tutorial. I could make some scrappy backs or even some baby quilts. I love the way yours turned out. I did not know that it snows in Texas.
You do work fast, Barb. It's a good skill when making a Texas snowman, before it all melts.
You did get a lot of snow! I love your quilt that matches your runner. Great design! The jelly roll is such a great use of your strips.
Wow. That is quite a bit of snow. Your snowman is very cute. Stay warm. Great time to quilt.

Love your snowman. He caught my eye and I had to stop and take a look. You got snow! Goodness. We expect it here in Michigan, but you? Like your quilts too. You've been busy.
What the hoodley-doodley? Snow in TEXAS? Tell me this didn't happen!
Gotta love the snow...isn't it beautiful falling down?
Hugs,
Kelly
It looks as if you got more snow than I did. I have only made one quilt using that method and I didn't like it so I chopped it into blocks.
That's a lot of snow for you isn't it? I'm glad you got to play in it, it looks like so much fun.
Cute snowman. Do you normally get snow
When I was a teacher, I loved snow days! Didn't get too many living in N. TX, though!
Cute quilts! Is snow usual in your neck of the woods?
