Finished quilting four quilts…..just need bindings…..so….should I just donate my whole day to binding?
Or should I play with my Go dies? Hummmmmmmm

Ouch! Hope all is well!
OMGosh, so sorry you got hurt...don't play with sharp toys while on the phone, right? RIGHT!
Oh...ouch!!!!! I can almost feel the pain. I doubt tht you will be much good at binding so I might stick with the GO today.
I like binding, so I 'm the wrong person to ask.
Ouch! I have that gadget too and it is scarey!
I hope you are feeling better. Good advice for others to learn from your experience.
I'm into finished these days, so I'm not the one to ask. I just knicked the top of my fingernail using a mandoline yesterday. Better than how you found out.
Ouch!! I am so careful with the slicers and graters because I know how bad that hurts. Plus, my family doesn't like bits of skin and blood in their food...go figure.
I still have a mid size stack of quilts that need binding. I used to breeze through binding quilts but lately every time I do a binding I struggle and fight with it. It's those darn corners that just won't behave.
Hope your finger feels better. Maybe suing the go would be better than doing the bindings. Give your finger a rest.
I would have to say PLAY!! Ouch! Poor finger.
Play with your dies and leave the binding for a day when you need something mindless to do. :-)
Oh goodness! I hope your finger and yourself is ok.
Ouch! I hope it didn't do too much damage.
Ow! I would take a play day too. Hope you are a fast healer. ;-)
Ahh!! Be careful! Thanks for the heads up. Probably something I would do.
Maybe bind one or start binding one and play, too?
My Mandolin scares the crap out of me. So, I don't do anything in addition to slicing and dicing. I focus only on that. AND, I let hubby clean the dang thing. Not me. :-)
Oh no that doesn't sound good. I hope all is well!
That is a serious grater. Big ouch. Thanks for the warning.
Binding or playing with dies. Difficult choices. I bet you can do both if you set your mind to it.

Oh, I'm so sorry! Hope it wasn't too serious and that you will heal quickly. Nola
Oh no! Hope you heal soon. I would have chosen the Go too :)
Ouch! Sounds like you got an owie! Hope it doesn't keep you from doing that applique!
Oh, that does sound painful. My hubby always tells me as long as I haven't lost a digit all is well. Hope it was not a bad boo boo. Heal quickly!
Ouch! I hope you're feeling better soon...thanks for the warning!
What did you do!!! OUCH!!!
Oh no!! That's sounds ridiculously painful! Hope you're ok. I would so bind - love finishing projects!!
Ouch is right, Barb!! Just go play. :)
Hope all is feeling better now Barb :) These sort of things do make a lot of pain and like you say.....put it down if the phone rings. Hugs Vicki x
Quilting is a dangerous activity! Go easy, girl!
Ouch....
Hugz
Ouch! Maybe you should have opted for binding.
sI bought a mandolin a couple of years ago but still have not used it because it scares me and I am easily distracted. I think you better take a play day till you heal. Blessings Sandra
Day before yesterday I was slicing sweet potatoes and the holder slipped. I sliced my thumb. Can you say deep and wide? Bled forever because I had taken two major aspirins an hour before (1000 mg!). It's raw meat and will be a long time healing. I REALLY feel your pain! Blessings, Marlene
Funny that doesn't look like a quilting tool.
Sorry you got an owweee.
Oooh! I hope you are okay. I had a similar unfortunate situation with a rotary cutter while talking to my husband last week.
That slicer is BAD! Lydia cut herself so bad once, I thought she would need stitches. I refuse to use the thing!! Be careful dear Barb!
:-}pokey
I'd stay out of the kitchen! :)
Owwowwowwowwoo! Poor you. I think you should elt yourself do whichever you want today as a reward for your injury!
ouch!!!!!
Oh no. Hope "that person" is okay.
Oh my, I hope you finger is okay. I am sure that smarted quite a bit!
Oh my!! Sounds like you should been working on the binding! LOL! Hope your fingy is doing better Barb. You crazy woman you!
xx, shell
thank goodness, you didn't photograph the blood and gore! I've learned to close my rotary cutter the hard way.
I had a witty comment all typed out, but when I went to send it, it disappeared. Still having problems leaving comments on your blog. So I am trying again.
All I can say is, "Ouch!"
Looks like my hubby's engineering stuff, not quilting tool. It bites, eh?
Pop over for our giveaway, Barb. You might enjoy the Quilts Mystery.
Have a beautiful weekend ~

Yowza! Those PC blades are sharp! I have a friend who did a real number on her finger with one. Hope you're healing well from your cut.
