and this is what I came up with. Gretta Go-die and her dog Goochie.
I used the medium circle die for the face, the flower die for the hair, arms, legs, the tumbler die for the dress, the rose of sharon die for the feet and hands. Oh..almost forgot, the scarf is the leaf die in the rose of sharon die. I had such fun dressing Gretta....if you make one, I hope you will come and share with me.
Little Goochie is the doggie die, and I cut his sweater from the dog die as well.... I had thought about doing a whole series but well, just thought I would share it with you instead.
Anyone looking at this could certainly just make one on their own and the placement...so enjoy!!

Very Cute. How did you ever come up with their names!
Oh Barb - Gretta Go-die and her dog Goochie are just adorable. I swear, I didn't get any of that "think outside the box" creativity. But I sure love yours.
How cute! What a great use of your dies!

Way to go Barb, that is a brilliant use of the dies for an alternate design!

That is so BRILLIANT. I love her but I would never have had the imagination to come up with this.
It is so cute Barb. You may just have to go work for the GO company. They will love you.
Keep going...there is a future for more Gretta's.

how clever! Gretta is cute!!!!
as usual, your brain is on overload and comes out with amazing stuff. I love this and the goofy names too.
Wow cute!!!
How adorable is this?! I love what you've done. You're amazing for sure. Guess what? I got the memory quilt done. I'm just waiting on my daughter-in-law Jill to draw the face on the companions and then it's off to the quilters. She's an artist and my hand isn't so steady. If you want to see it I can post it on my "Hi, Mom" blog and maybe you can give me pointers on anything else I could do. It will look much better when it's quilted. I talked to Paula, my quilter, at the beginning of summer and we looked at the quilt top and planned how she'd quilt it. I'm so excited to see it done!
You are so clever , they are adorable!!
Ok Barb, that is the cuttest thing I've seen....so fun and creative. Love it!
