Well.....you all know that I am giving this away over at Inch worm Fabrics.
What I failed to tell you was that I put insul brite on the inside instead of batting. Which means you can put anything hot or cold on it and it won't affect the surface of your table. I loved sewing with this insul brite and it lays so flat. I almost used the last of my insul brite. A friend ordered us both some....anyways....making a short story long....
I LOVE this table runner so I decided to take this:
and do this?
to make more of these!! I think I can get two long ones and a smaller one...yepeeee
Did I say how much I love my table runner.....and I have a few friends that need cheering up too...so this will be perfect. Unfortunately, this was all I was able to do last night......

Wow, that is all you got done!!! Way to put the "pedal to the metal"!!!
Great idea. I've used insul-brite for hot pads, but had never thought about it for a table runner. Thanks for sharing this!

They are beautiful and what a smart idea to use insul-brite. I will have to try that.
You are absolutely right! Women can change their mind. LOL I love your table runner. It's beautiful and I can understand why you wanted to make more. Lucky friends you have.
Great, great idea Barb.
so pretty, love em'
are you taking the quilt/throw apart?????
Great idea to use insul-bright inside it. I may steal that idea.
I love using insul-bright. I used it a lot last year and I still have some left. Great table runner.
I used insulbrite on a topper made with teapot fabric but I've not seen that for awhile now....hmmmmm...wonder where that went???? Better look for it....
Using the insul brite batting in a table runner is a FANTASTIC idea! I'm going to use it in my table runners from now on. Thanks for sharing your idea!
How clever of you to use the insulated batting! I just recently discovered it when making tea cozies and it is fabulous! One pot can stay hot for a really long time!

How pretty!! I've never heard of insul-bright but I'll have to look for it. What a great idea for a table runner instead of batting.
I just found your site for the first time and LOVE it! What is insul brite ? Thanks, Joanne
