Totes and more totes....but I have found it fun to try and do free motion quilting...The machine did not like sewing on this material...it has those funny flowers that have a plastic feel to them.
No stippling here but matching accessories..
This batik was so awesome to try my free motion quilting...turned out lovely. I made the one small bag the other day...thought I would match everything up since I loved the batik so much.
A little Christmas around the house......Got this tree (the cut out) at a garage sell a few years back and well....it was calling out to me to make...so I answered the call.
Oh yes.....I know what you are thinking....Glad Barb finally got off that towel jag.....well.......you just know I couldn't....not sick of them yet.
So this is what I am doing instead of cleaning and packing....Shame on me...I have one more project Saturday too... Yep, this gal is going to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off tonght (Saturday) to get packed.
If I do not post before Christmas...I am hoping you all have a wonderful time with family and friends and take a few moments to ponder the real meaning of Christmas....it is not the gifts, it is not the food, where you live or what you do, it is all about one person and that is our Beloved Savior and a loving Heavenly Father that sent his son as a gift to us.
MERRY CHRISTAS EVERYONE!!!!

Great work Barb.
the little tree, what is it stuffed with? Is it on a wood frame or what???
I am wondering if I can make one. LOL like I need something else to do.
Pat your bags as always are wonderful. know you are on your trip but I hope you get to read your blog. Free motion quilting on batik is difficult sometimes because the fabric has no give.
I simply love your towels. I am going to look for some yellow gingham to make a yellow one which I do not have.
Enjoy your time with your sons.
What beautiful things you have been creating! Have a safe flight and Merry Christmas to you and your's. When will you be home?
Barb, I can't say shame on you for not packing because I had such a great time this morning looking at the projects you worked on instead. The sets of bags are all beautiful and so fun, I've got to remember today to go in and download that pattern. I need at least one set for myself and then I was thinking what great gifts they will make. You Christmas tree is REALLY delightful, is that also a pattern that is available online? What fun!!! AND the towels, I'm so glad your not tired of them yet. They are just so great and I picked up some tea towels a few days back and am definitely going to give it a try. They will be my very first applique' projects (machine of course, lol). My Sclero flare up is finally easing up so hopefully today there will be some sewing fun for me. One more very important thing...Thank you so much for your wonderful Christmas thoughts and reminder of what our celebration should focus on. I try to continuously remind my family AND myself that "Jesus is the Reason for the Season". Have a safe special Christmas and enjoy Texas.
Oops, I forgot to wish EVERYONE a wonderful Christmas, and a safe and happy New Year...Just incase there's not much posting going on between now and then, lol.
Have a wonderful trip and Christmas!
Your busy and yes you should be packing for your trip! :-) I absolutely love the batiks!!!
Those are gorgeous, Barb!!! I love batiks too.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a safe trip.
What great gifts those tote sets will make! You have been a busy girl!
Those are some cute totes but the tree really caught my eye! Is it made with 8 pieces and stitch together in the middle?

You have been busy. I still have lots to do. Hope you and yours have a very Happy Christmas
Well at least your hands or your sewing machine have been idle. Shoot it only takes a moment to cram some clothes into a suitcase.
Have a Merry Christmas too!!
